What the fuck? Are people comparing this shit I just read... to Rave?

I'll give it until the end of this arc, if Jellal really just died like a failure right there, then I guess that's all the potential he ever had...

I'll hold my thoughts until then.  It could be a part of his plan for all we know, maybe another artificial body? Like when he was in the council?

Silver has caught my interest however.

I hope Mashima will draw three chapters in one week sometimes again.

Not sure if you guys consider Cobra a scrub, if you do then I'll shoot my head off. Cobra's the only one that even makes this team any better, all of them suck, if it wasn't for Cobra's sudden poisoning attacks on Jellal, he wouldn't be so slow nor numb.

Oracion Seis is Cobra and Zero, everyone else kind of fail.

Either way, this clearly shows that Laxus's the only Guild stomper in Fairy Tail right now, Jellal let them hit him for no reasons, thus giving Zero the element of surprise and getting himself badly wounded.

Then again I wish it was Laxus vs Oracion Seis instead of Jellal, Jellal should have been the one to try and rescue Erza and fight Silver instead.

I don't think he's dead though, I expect Jellal to do something big and pubstomp the entire Oracion Seis next chapter (because eh..he did say "he" will beat them)

Inb4 Jellal uses "Izanagi".

Laxus would've trumped them, just like he wiped the floor with Ravel Tail, so I guess Mashima wanted to give another S-class member, or rather "ally" of Fairy Tail a chance to shine.

Currently the most popular theory is that he or/and Oracion Seis is using an illusion of his death.

And don't worry - Cobra will definitely have his chance to shine. He's a Dragon Slayer after all. Even Wendy was promoted from side character to Fairy tail member and main team cast (with Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Erza. Oh, and of course Charle and Happy)

Knowing Mashima, he'll find a way for Jellal to survive those 2 blows dealt by Zero.

My theory is that Hoteye/Richard sunk him into the ground on the second blow. I'm not entirely sure though.

Agreed. Another Deus-Ex Machina most likely for Jellal. Mashima likes to troll us - we all know what happened when Gray died. He got brought back to life through time travel. XD

I liked how you said (except for Erza) when she's on top of the list when it comes to ruined characters. Zeref is kind of ruined too because he just another Natsu fanboy weirdo who cries a lot apparently.

The point is some of us want Jellal dead, because he's annoying and boring insect that is plaguing this manga.

o...k...

Wow, I love Silver's move in this chapter. Now I'm 90% sure he is future Gray. His move seems like he is a double agent, or well, it's just another example of dumb damage control because "Fairy Tail must win" BUT I place my bets on him being a double agent.

Elfman will most likely be stopped, and by no one else but Cana who suddenly remembered she can talk. Wow, seriously, at the same rate, Marco could started bullying Elfman, that would make as much sense.

...I don't really mind it though, because it would be terribly lame if Fairy Tail were just obliterated by some magical nuke. It's obviously not gonna affect them. So for that I'm only pissed that he wasted the opportunity of having Elfman "contracted soul" just do some dumb "plant a bomb" plan. Sayla could have made him do so much more, and something cooler/more impactful. Sigh.

And yeah, as everyone says, no way that Jellal is dead. For me, I think the ex-chairman's statement  on the last page means "I found the real Jellal". However, I'm sure everybody is already sick of seeing Jellal's body doubles. So if Mashima is gonna pull out another body double for him, people are gonna be disgusted....including me :/

But overall I like the action in this Chapter, I love Silver right now, and it was unexpected with Zero at the end. Can't wait to see the next chapter.

I mean the magic tournament arc.

They're unrelated. There is no reason for dragons to show up now. They had far more reason in the GMG arc. This is all about taking Tartaros out and the next will likely be zeref before finally Acnologia.

Cana might not smell like Gildarts because she was hardly around him, I guess? They have very little resemblance apart from their hair.

As for Silver saying "Natsu...no it can't be" (@noobzilla), this might go together with another theory someone said before on another chapter.

END = Evil Natsu Dragneel?

MAYBE, just MAYBE. Or

END = E______ Natsu Dragneel        Something, just it might be possible. Maybe Silver is drawing a connection to that.

But then we can extend that into the fact that Gray spent a lot of time with Ul so it might be that scent he's picking up and associating with Gray since after all Natsu never got his scent BEFORE Deliora
