Wrong, END is a demon from Zeref's book, not the whole Tartarus guild, the nine gates as evidence of what they are doing with Minerva, and starting to do with Mirajane were humans that turned into demons.







Cobra told Doranbolt that they were all demons from Zeref's Book and The E.N.D. was their master and the strongest of them all. I don't think they are being turned into "true" demons as it seems they will be servants.

I'm going on a limb here and say that Silver is Gray's father. That is one revelation that I could think about. I would also risk saying that he might be angry with Gray because he might be Ul's husband/lover, therefore making Gray and Ultear half-siblings. I could totally see that because Ul's lover was never shown in the manga. Ultear had really great magic which rendered her ill and can only be because both of her parents were mages (well, her father is a demon). Meanwhile Gray might have a non-magical mother, therefore balancing it and that's why he was healthier and more normal than Ultear. That's just a guess of mine. Silver would be angry with Gray because he was the 'indirect' cause of death of both Ul and Ultear. I guess Silver doesn't know that Gray is his son. It's not a far-fetched theory, but still.



Well, that's my theory. Other than that, I find the chapter only redeemed by Silver and the plain but powerful interactions of Gray and Juvia. Mashima should just seal the deal with those two. XD



My turn-off for this chapter: the hentai fanservice with Erza.

While the theories here are pretty reasonable, and there is definitely some connection between gray and zero. But let's remember somethings we already know.



- We are to believe that Gray's parents, and possibly any close relatives, died when Deliora attacked his home town when he was little.



- The nine gates are demons from Zeref's book.



Now we know that Zeref has nothing against turning humans into dragons, so demons are not out of the question. It's a stretch, but I am going to say that if anything Gray is a descendant of Zero or at least not so closely related as a father or brother.



The future Gray is a little doubtful, but there is one thing that does stand out for this theory. Zero knows demon slaying magic. Now why would a demon need to know demon slaying magic? Well I'm sure demons fight all the time and it would give him an edge. Maybe this is why Franmalth fears/respects Zero.



As for Zero being Ur's husband. While it could make sense that they were married because they use ice magic, but this doesn't explain why he would smell like Gray.

Maybe Silver is Gray from the future. He witnesed Natsu kill Juvia in the future, but Natsu is too strong to kill in his time, so he goes in the past. He works with Zeref to create a world with no magic so no one will be killed. He does this for love for Juvia.



P.S. I sure hope that doesn't happen. That is kind of lame.

Grey does say "I will avenge mum and dad" - so he was living with them when deliora supposedly killed them...



Ur's husband still doesn't make sense with the "same smell" part and how they look kinda similar. Going with some massive drama with father/ uncle/ brother [i feel that using future self like rogue again would be repetitive...]

First off if next week even gets into the Natsu/silver fight then we'll be seeing Natsu no sell that ice. He'll probably blow it right off with nakama power, falcon punch Silver in the face and then Kyouka will join the fight too, she did leave Erza to go see what the commotion was all about. Erza might break free now that Kyouka is gone but I'm not sure. I think we'll have to wait for the Oracion Seis to join the fight and by then Erza Minerva and Mira will be demons.

if Hiro is still going to continue his time travel shit I am going to rage hard. It didn´t make any sense the first time. You are a terrible writer Hiro... don´t try a time travel plot ever... EVER again o_O

I'm really confused on the Gray's dad is Silver. How will that work out? Gray became an ice-make mage AFTER MEETING Ur, AFTER Silver's supposed death. How are they connected if it's based on the magic?



And who else is psyched about the hand-holding? JSFSL;asbsal GRUVIA ALL THE WAY!

You're all sayin that he might be Gray's father/Ultear's father but.. isn't he a demon? Didn't it state somewhere in one of the recent chapters that everyone in Tartaros is a demon and not human? If so, won't that make Gray/Ultear half demon?? Unless I am mistaken here.

Anyway, this relationship with Gray is really intriguing. OH I just remembered. Didn't Gray say that his parents died when Deliora destroyed his village?
