For a moment I really thought Happy would die. I am so {happy} it didn't happen. ^3^

Nevermind, Jackals abilities were quite impressive and he was the weakest mage of tartarus. O-o

Well, that was jarring. Jarring enough to make me comment.



My theory: Happy is Igneel in cat form!!!!!!!! ...lol.

Would probably ahve had a more lasting impact if Happy had actually died but it was a decent chapter.



Natsu ha sto pull out the lightning power to finally defeat Jackal. That's a first is it not? H ebeat Rogue and Sting in dragon force mode without teh lightning powers so tis tells us Jackal was  a major threat in his transformed state.



as for happy surviving, we all know his max speed is pretty much the fastest speed in the series, although he can only go a short distance it was pretty much all he needed. he also didn't actually touch Jackal's body he grabbed his clothes which explains why he didn't go boom from touching Jackal.



So Tempesta has taken Laxus and the raijin tribe of the board for the forseeable future and Jackal pushed Natsu into using the Lightning mode. and both combined have killed about 300+ people.



how exactly are Tartarus poor villains?

I think Mashima should take a rest or something to think through these fights. They're kinda boring and not quite well executed. I don't know why did he make Happy be a sacrifical hero. Is he trying to give a hint that Edolas cats are extremely sturdy?

I agree about Happy's plot armor being too strong. How the hell did he survive that? O_o? Well, Not like I wanted him to die though...still meh ending for the chap. Could've been better.



And is it just me or the art was different this ep...not better. It felt rougher without the usual smoothness.

rusheeeeed, no more 2-3 chapters fights, if there were any in FT before (I seem to forget everything related to this series lately)





it's funny how Mashima didn't even bother with the foreshadowing or putting some thrill for a possible Happy death till next chapter, because everyone knows (and he knows everyone knows) that ain't happening, so why even bother xd

Pretty good fight for Fairy Tail. I do hope the other demons are stronger, but considering this guy's power was to explode it kind of makes sense that his fight wouldn't be too long.

Yea Tartaros sure is delivering the hype that everybody thought they would. With these 2 fights so far, they sure do seem intimidating.



Tempesta getting roflstomped by Laxus.

Jackal getting 1 LFG attack in his demon form and then hes out for the count.



And I love how Mashima trys to make it seem like Natsu just fainted at the end, like it was somehow a close battle when it wasnt remotely close. Hate it when authors do this,  its the same shit when Erza using her sword as a walking stick to make it seem like she was severely beaten up, when she just owned Minerva. You arent fooling anybody Mashima. You're terrible.



And I thought Natsu said he negated Jackals attack anyway? Meaning why did he faint, if the attacks didnt work on him? They clearly did. So I guess if Jackal could've tanked a couple more blows Natsu would've lost? Lol no. We all know he would have got right back up and fight again, because it doesnt matter how much damage you do to Natsu, or any other important character from FT, they will always get up, and the villains are glass cannons.



But screw all of that. Hiro Mashima hit a new low with Happy surviving Jackals most powerful explosion. And dont even try to say that this is just like Pell in One Piece. This is objectively worse.



Jackals final attack, his biggest explosion, which is going to kill him and everybody in town (Oh wait thats right, the town was evacuated, so there goes all the tension) gets foiled by Happy flying him into the air and then exploding himself. But wait! The attack is TANKED, by a fucking cat,  who makes other fodder characters seem like God Tier characters, and we are supposed to just accept that? A villain was just killed, and the cat took his most powerful explosion, and we need to just accept it?



And dont even think of saying "Its a gag moment" because it fails. Nami punching Luffy and damaging him is a gag, this shit is not.



So anyways, Tartaros, just like every other villain in this series, is hyped up to know end, only to get trolled by FT. Man do I feel the suspense.



I cant wait till Erza vs Minerva. The sight of that shall be glorious
