He likely let go of Jackal right before the explosion so he got hit only by the outer part of the blast

I wish this manga would end with the 400th chapter. It's sad to see this manga being so bad for such a long time when it was so good back in the day. It's really painful to keep following it.

So Jackal did a Deidara (suicide bombing), and Happy did a Pell (flying the bomb away, and surviving without any explanation whatsoever). Hiro is back to his old ways it seems, I had too much faith in him.



I guess all Council members are weak, if they could lose to someone as fodder as Jackal.

Damn you Happy, you scared us to death!

I wonder if being dragon slayers makes them stronger against demons

I don't think the curse is in effect when he's trying to kamikaze his surroundings.

This was terrible, not the chapter in general, I expected Natsu to be either immune, or have resistance to explosions, and him using Laxus' power was already shown prior, but really, how the F*ck did happy live? that blast was supposed to be able to wipe a town off the map, and the curse marks for touching him should have added even more damage. this has to be the most plot armor any member of FT has been given yet.



On another note, apparently Every member of tartarus is gonna be pulling a "Taking you with me!" from now on.

For a second I thought that happy died in that explosion.

I always get excited when I see Fairy Tail overpowering their opponents with ease. I enjoyed the fact that Happy got a short hero role :)

Happy has the max speed in the series. example when he caught up to Erigor during Lullaby in about 5 seconds. It's not impossible for him to have outran the explosion. He never actually touched Jackal's physical body, only his clothes so thus no boom for touching him.



Jackal has killed the magic council. Tempesta has poisoned Laxus, Freed, Evergreen and Bixslow for the foreseeable future.



Natsu never used his lightning power against Dragon Force Sting & Rogue when they double teamed him or even against the dragons and Future Rogue so being forced to use it against Jackal is a big deal. Natsu wasn't winning the fight without that power.



I really don't see why people are complaining just because they lost in fist fights. Just because you lose a battle doenst mean you lose the war.



Tartarus has been a major improvement over the GMG and the dragon stuff.
