I knew the guy looked creepy but i never would have though he was a demon. Im to see as to where this going.

I'm having trouble remembering a time when Gray exhibited intelligence before this.  All I remember is when facing Oracion Seis it was Leon who won most of the battle.



Didn't he do something smart in the final round of the grand magic tournament though?



Also, I think the setting basically made it easier for Gray being intelligent.  I mean, everything's covered in magical ice so it's much easier to confuse the two.



But yeah, I still give him props for that one.  Oh, but I do hope he stops getting paralyzed with fear every time he hears the name Zeref or sees a shadow that looks like a demon.  I know he had a traumatic experience with a demon, but I think a bit more character development is necessary.
