Fairy Tail Chapter 335 Discussion

I absolutely loved this chapter.

Okay, Mashima finally had the 'balls' to kill an important person off, but that would be just wrong. Ultear is loved by everyone and pretty important, so I think it's good that she died, although I and everyone else loved her. I mean, everything she's been through and especially the part with Gray made this the perfect opportunity for her to die. On some other forums people were angry that Gray didn't die and I don't see why. IMO, I love him and he's less cliche than Natsu and Lucy, while I can't help loving those two and especially Natsu.

Anyway, I don't like that she died, but I'm glad that she died instead of Gray and the others. I really like her, but Mashima needs to keep her dead. It's highly possible that this won't happen though, since she doesn't know she saved people's lifes and actually saved everyone and the world if you ask me. That's why he might bring her back because he WILL feel bad for her. Mashima is a pussy, but a genius one.



One other thing: I understand it's necessary to keep everyone apart from each other, but everyone is all over the place and nobody knows what's going on with each other + the chapters are going slow, so that kinda makes me sad. For example, almost nobody knew in the previous chapter that Gray died, and now nobody (except for Gray, maybe) knows that Ultear just died and saved 5 lifes.

Admittedly, it was obvious, but also done a lot better than I expected. The fact what she did ended up being on a much bigger scale was a nice touch, it's cliche but she saved a lot of people and I felt sad for her death, especially as she didn't believe she did anything useful.



Ultear is a hero.

But I was waiting see Juvia fighting. Well you know... She isn't doing many things anymore and see her in a serious fight could be very interesting. Hope Juvia be more active too, she only appeared there for think wrong things about Gray's feelings and cry when he was dead.



Gajeel appeared? hahaha, OMG I forgot him 'xD



Good cap. Previsible, but good. Hope the next be more interesting. :p

So using the Last Ages, requires all of the user's life. Why 1 minute? Did her life only worth 1 minute?



You can't just change the time of a few people.  Ultear had to change the time of the world, otherwise everything would be messed up.  Naturally one minute of the entire world could suck up an entire human life.

"My life was only worth one minute", poor Ultear she dies not knowing how important her technique was.



Still as the chapters go by everything is feeling both rushed and uneven, even more than usual by Fairy Tails standard. Are these current volumes or chapters in Japan not doing so good that Hiro is trying to move forward as possible?
