It's not the mark that is gone from Future Lucy. It's the whole ARM. For some reason I didn't feeling anything when future Lucy died. Maybe its cause I was sleepy.
What will happen now to future Lucy body? Will she unite with normal Lucy in next chapter and boost her power? The only thing that would make Present Lucy close the gate is "experience" future. What if Present Lucy will now inherit Future Lucy memories and pain of loosing everyone?
man i dont hope that the memories fuse to present lucy, thats too much pain.. but if thats explain on charla's vision of lucy crying might be possible to happen..
maybe the Lumen Histoire has something to do with this arc..

Look i have read like 80% of long runing shonen battle series, and i can say without any hesitation that FT is far far behind them no comparison, don't call me hater, because when i read FT for the first time i said this manga should at least be in my top 10 best manga ever, do you any idea of how great potential it has in the beginning? the world could have been ever vaster than OP's world... just by the world magic you can create a lot of crazy things... but guess what? mashima prefer romance and nakama power up.
I don't have any problem about someone saying FT is my favorite manga of all time, like you said in the end it's enjoyability that matters, BUT, make difference between enjoyability and quality,
you can like a shitty work simply because you find something that interest you, something you really like, and you can dislike a great work simply because you don't like the content.
And always when i speak about FT, people say "well, do you have a great character like erza"
first of all, erza is all but a good character, in fact she is really really bad character, just for example
this latest Armor that she used against minerva, this is an Over Powered armor that should not be used without a secondary effect (at least)... it's really fucked up this armor, i'd rather see nakama power up instead of this bull shit created of nowhere, seriously if erza has this armor from the begginning of the manga, why didn't she used it against achnologia for example? or against jupiter (from phantom lord arc) she could have simply canceled the magic...
oh and the little FB we got from kagura, that's new, mashima never planned this and never forshadowed it, and it has some contradiction, because in the FB we can see kagura and erza at pretty much the same age, so with the 7 years time skip (which was BS by the way) kagura should have been looking more mature than erza....

The first page seeing Sting's pathetic self acting so happy after the shameful experience of giving up to Fairy Tail, made this chapter already irksome.
The death scene was rushed and not very good in my opinion.
Rogue is a complete moron for telling everyone his plan, he should have just killed current Lucy in a suprise attack.
Found it hilariously convenient , that future Lucy jumped in the right second to protect current Lucy. Made me chuckle at ridiculousness of the whole thing. Natsu was dodging Sting and Rouge in dragon force with ez and your telling me he couldn't have reacted to stopping Rouge's sword? And your telling me Future Lucy calculated the speed and distance to jump at the right moment? Ya......okay.
The ass shot of Lucy kneeling down with future Lucy was unneeded in such a sad moment of the chapter but I guess he got to throw in some fanservice somewhere.
Lets completely forget that Rouge had 7 years training prior before the tournament. And then another 7 years of fighting/surviving off against the dragons. All in all he got 14 years of training of fighting experience over Natsu and so if he gets stomped Hiro.......smh. What am I talking about, of course he will get stomped with teary eyed move that we seen before with a different name....its Hiro its all about friendship and making Fairy Tail the supreme gods of his manga.

Get out you heartless troll. Future Lucy was right next to Present Lucy you moron and everything else is just you hating and presuming. You think one third gen could survive fighting in world ruled by Dragons and actually kill any? hahaha no. He more than likely used his shadowy powers to move around and reasearch how to change things. Now put that in your tea cup and GET THE FUCK OUT.

I do understand people defending Fairy Tail here, but I think you're wrong. You can say Fairy Tail is the best, and even reason with the guy who says it's bull, but in the end it's just your subjective opinion and no matter how much you try to go around it that fact won't change (same for the troll guy without arguments).
On the other hand, you can't negate the fact that Fairy Tail (if we compare it to other same-genre series) simply isn't putting up with them. Nobody here hates Fairy Tail, we all enjoy it more or less for what it is/what it can grow to/grew to, but saying it's better than OP...I'm sorry, no. Shallow character development in OP? Nop. Read Fairy Tail deeper to understand what's behind the surface described already in the comments above? Oh cmon, you can dream it and think it all you want, but in the end fights are far worse handled then for instance OP, motivation is far worse handled than OP, world exploration isn't even there... The idea is like @bizbiz said great, the vast world offers great opportunities, but the anime itself is locked and limited to a small frame of relationship between the main cast, which repeats itself over and over. Lately, FOR ME (that's what a lot of you guys forgets to say in your babling about this and that) FT became so monotonous except a few jumps here and there... It's an enjoyable funny anime with epic moments, but nothing more. It's that shallow.
Also, needs moar dragons n shit.
A series is not only about the fights also I never said FT is better than OP so kindly don't put words in my mouth. I like them both equally but I can see plenty of flaws in both. OP has had its fair share of stupid concepts and out of the blue powerups. People don't care simply cause they are cool. To which I agree but don't turn your eyes from the fact that it makes no freakin sense.
