Im pretty sure natsu was holding futures lucy's ass lol.

Also, Laxus' match isn't fair at all. That lightning guy is gonna get his ass handed to him.

I wonder what sting has planned

finally laxus is gonna fight the god slayer,-thats definetly the best match right now. seriously erza and kagura are gonna fight thats all part of minervas stratedgy two birds with one stone, maybe in next few chapters they're gonna realize working togather is better after understanding each other

As much as I would like that to happen and as much as I really dislike Minerva. I think it will be too late even if they realize/come to an agreement after resolving their problems to work together against Minerva since most likely they would have worn themselves out after some real fierce fighting and Minerva probably will come back and take both a severely weakened Erza and Kagura out. I'll stick with my predictions for the moment. What I'm think is that Erza will lose while protecting Millianna or Kagura or both. Like when Mirajane protected Lisanna against Azuma's bomb on Tenroujima. Kagura finally forgives Erza, goes for a desperate final attack to strike down Minerva only to be taken out herself.

Well in the unlikelihood that this actually happens, I'll just stick to a simple outcome that Minerva will win.

I  am going to continue with my predictions and put them here so I can refer to them later for my own benefit:

Minerva vs Erza vs Kagura (and Millianna); Victor is Minerva.

Laxus vs Orga; should be a straightforward match with victory for Laxus.

Gajeel vs Rogue; an interesting match with the Victor to be Gajeel.

Juvia vs Shelia will be joined with Gray vs Lyon: Victor is Sting who takes the remaining people from this fight out.

This would leave FT with 53 points and ST with 58 approximately, this point total assumes something like Juvia and Gray work together to beat either Shelia or Lyon, or that Erza loses to Kagura or something.

Then the next fight is Laxus vs Jura; a good fight and difficult but Laxus is the victor although probably exhausted at this time.

Then the final fight is Sting and Minerva vs Gajeel and Laxus with the score tied somehow.

Laxus as the leader of the FT will lose by taking damage for Gajeel or something and propel Gajeel to victory thus Minerva and Sting will lose and Gajeel is the last one left standing. And FT beats ST by one point. Thus fulfilling what Gajeel said to Sting in the Chariot race on Day 2 of the games, "Don't go crying about that 1 point later, you Baldie."

This ends my post for now and also I apologise for my unending rambing. Thank you for your understanding. ^_^

@Theusis3 interesting prediction, I like the fact you put Gajeel's smirk in day 2 in it and planned it all out. I also thought of it that way, but it seems highly improbable.

I predict an Erza speech about Kagura being blinded by hate and then Erza either winning or doing something to persuade Kagura to take Minerva alltogether, because from what we've seen the biggest ass-pull in history would be Erza/Kagura winning against both counterparts.

Everyone predicts a easy win for Laxus against Orga...Well, the only disadvantage to Laxus is he can't eat black lightning, while Orga can eat Laxus thunder...But that's Laxus we're talking about, so there's no way that won't be a roflstomp XD

Gajeel vs Rogue --> Gajeel

Shelia vs. Juvia ---> standstill until Gray catches his breath, but I'm pretty sure they'll both be out of the count, but I don't see how Gray vs. Leon would be fixed because Leon should win that, fixing his magic making (now with both hands), so I'm gonna say something like either 2 of them joining and holding someone of, or Gray coming to rescue Erza in a dramatic chain of events that will unfold.

I kinda see the 'most impossible' outcome being FT win without losing a single member, no matter how improbable that might be.

Things are gonna get pretty flashy now, I'm excited.

@kiDnameDSkia, thanks and I agree it seems highly improbable, I also agree with the 'most impossible outcome' being FT dominate without losing a single member, I thought about it but that theory is actually more probable than my own. It depends what Mashima does, he can be unpredictable sometimes, that's why I find every Chapter of Fairy Tail exciting and interesting. The only reason I won't go with the theory that FT dominates without losing a single member is because I prefer tightly fought contests so I really don't want that to happen. I actually wanted Sting and Rogue vs Natsu and Gajeel match on day 4 to be a draw and settled on the final day. But now I will patiently await the next few chapters and the conclusion of this arc. ^_^

I still wonder about god slayer ? what is the "gods" that they slashed at ? :<

and interesting thing about what is this "impossible outcome" ? is there anyone think a theory about what is it ?

Godslayers, they don't actually learn from gods though that would be cool. I think it is just a lost magic which they learned from scrolls and they haven't actually killed gods. However if 'gods' do exists, then that would be an entire arc by itself.

As for the "impossible outcome", there is no outcome that is impossible, it is a figure of speech. But my guess is that the "impossible outcome" must be that FT wins. Since ST are favourites to win, LS are second favourites in the competition then MH. And FT were expected to lose so my guess would be that Mashima calls that impossible outcome of FT winning as the odds are against them. I can't see all hell breaking loose and something else happens.

~Nothing is impossible. Some things are just highly improbable.~

IMO it might be the whole greek mythology idea - Dragons overthrowing Gods, humans overthrowing Dragons, etc. So the godslaying magic could be a lost magic that dragons themselves used to slay gods.

i just hope this eclipse plot doesnt troll the battles like just when everybody finishes each other off - bam, the world gets destroyed. -.-If it does, my rating's gonna drop. I've waited far too long too see this fight!

It shouldn't do as I think that they mentioned that before they can start the Eclipse Project 2, they have to wait to find out the outcome of the tournament.

And on other notes, Kagura is pissed because she doesn't know why FT were hiding Jellal. Millianna has probably told her all about the Tower of Heaven arc already. What is the story between Kagura and Jellal? I hope it is a good one.

Well we know Minerva's going to die a slow, painful death, and that's really all that matters...

but Erza must be the one...

she must.

Kagura was blinded by her own rage, who blatantly charges at their enemy like that? Notice how Erza kept her cool? That will be an advantage over Kagura and I bet that's how Erza will pull off a win. I can see it coming.

Precisely~

Nice chapter.

Just wondering who do you think is going to win the tournament?  They said that its going to be the most impossible outcome of the fight. Although it would be pretty cliche I think its going to be Fairy Tail since they haven't won a tournament those years they went missing. So according to the characters they would be the most impossible. Its kind of been bugging me this impossible outcome.
