I agree with Angel being her sister that was my first instinct too.

I was sodistressed when I saw Juvia instead of Mira as the substitue but at the mention of a second team I calmed my shitstorm down and think this is a heaps better plan, I should of had more faith in Mashima haha.

I hope that gajeel gets to screw ppls shit up cause he hasn't really had much of a chance to shine.

^True that, but sth I would like to point out. The only reason Elfman won was because he had the ultimate Anti-Bacchus takeover. I don't think that Bacchus is equal to Erza (it is true that he was overly hyped) but he still is an average S-class, let's not disregard this. In other words he would be more capable than Elfman when it comes to completing S-class missions



As for the Deus-X that you mentioned, I don't think that Gildarts ever suffered from it.I mean he was barely present throughout the whole story of FT and in the small time he was he did show up in time to fight Bluesting, unless you have something in particular in mind. Same goes for Jellal, it was not DX , may I remind you that Jura DID realise his identity and it was only a comcial way to end the fight safely, I don't think that this stands as DX. But for Makarov you are correct. Certain DX have been pulled of well others were crap and served to confuse things.

Yeah well, that's why we love fairy tail, because of so many protagonists and good guys. I agree on the part etherion munching was expected, but that doesn't mean I can't use it for my argument, my intention wasn't pointing out ass pulls, rather putting an eye-scope on Natsu's "potential", and his current "power". It's a big difference. We haven't seen his power so often in a light that could compare to other characters, yet his potential greatly overshadows all other powerful characters thus making them seem more invaluable than they rly are.

Good set up chapter, i wonder how the fights will match up.
