What was the point of building up suspense with the last two chapters? Weren't they side-stories going to lead up to the hooded girl's identity? No reveal at all? Really?

Good troll, Mashima. I can't wait for the next time skip that isn't a time skip.

he fooled us again

classic Mashima xD

anyway, I just hope the hooded girl isn't someone from the future

It's pretty much certain it is. Eclipse plan is top secret except to those involved in it and this person knows about it. Time travel is the only answer.

Oh I do agree that Minerva seems to have ulterior motives and that there's a possibility she did that. She does have a fitting power for that anyway.

Its just that her  saving Lector seems a bit counter-productive to me. - She would want Sting to rage more and to have reason to stay in guild and possibly go after Natsu - can't do that if Lector's alive. At the same time Lector's death would also motivate Rogue to be strong as to not lose his cat.

And I doubt she is the kind of person who would save someone out of mercy.

With everything it does seem that Lector's more useful to her dead than alive. Of course who knows...

In anyway, she is either the true leader with Genma s a front or she is "Laxus" of Sabertooth - except that unlike with Laxus, she does not seem to care how the current leader dies.

It has been stated she is Genma's daughter and the way Sting is now I think she would need some proper leverage to calm him down from extracting his rage towards her as well.

Besides, if Lecter is indeed dead then (assuming that Minerva will step  up to the throne) she will lose Sting.....or at least I think so. I mean, with Lecter presumably dead I can clearly see Sting packing up and kissing ST goodbye.

dis.

^also, I'm also curious about finding a little moar history of Fairy Tail and the overall role of dragons in the series.

Okay, just asking, because I think I missed something. Why is everyone saying Gemma lost? He just got hit by a very powerful attack by Sting, I don't think it was established that he's down for the count, atleast not yet. I could be wrong, but from what I've seen, there could be a chance Gemma will continue fighting with Sting. Yes, the dude has a hole in his chest, but we don't how strong Gemma really is, for all we know, he could have more stamina than Makarov and actually fight with such a wound. (Just in case people question me why I brought in Makarov to the subject, it's because Makarov was still alive with a hole through his chest from Purehito, barely, but still alive. Although, with all this said, any corrections are welcome if I missed something.)

Sabertooth were strong because they had no real competition. That's it. They are not powerhouses. Well Minerva might be but that's it.

Thank you, Sting.

Keep it up, you're on the right track.

(Just realized after reading comments here that the girl was one-handed... interesting.)

people are posting about it being lucy because she was crying watching natsu's fight, and because levy was writing to her. but levy could've been writing like lucy was to her dead mother, just writing a letter for closure or somet. and tbh it could be any female that knows natsu and to give jellal that much of a shock it might've been erza, and people could find out about the eclipse plan, for all we know it could be broadcast across the whole city in the next couple of chapters, highly unlikely but it could still happen :P

There is plenty more than that but fine if you want to jump up to such poorly thought out conclusions without considering ALL of the pieces and actually BOTHERING to make them fit, it's your choice. Just don't start crying out troll when it turns out you were wrong.

The cold hard truth is, Lisanna is a character that has no place in the story mashima thought up. The editor made him bring her back and aside from that he shows zero intent to give her any major plot importance. I understand you like her but look at the cold hard facts.
