Cute chapter and all but damn filler. Totally unneeded and especially in the middle of maybe one of the best arcs in FT. It's manga! It doesn't need fillers like that and especially not 2 in a row >_>



Would a 2week break be better? These are not "filler chapters". If it wasn't for these kind of chapters people would complain how the manga lacks character development. I see no wrong in taking a break from the continuous battles and showing a little bit of FT's "life".



1-Obviously Hiro did that to make the 300 special.

2-Considering the imminent calamity that has been forshadowed I think that some chapter intended for emotional-attachment are good to have.

No dialogue 2 weeks after Kishi .. sure.

Say what you want but this chapter had less relevance to the main story than an anime filler.

Lol, no words but Gildarts was great, too bad that he destroyed their village in the end.

You know he was gonna but damn him being a derp with that destructive magic of his XD

Yes it is.

I don't think these side stories should be faced either as fillers or irrelevant story. A good story is made of action moments and some quiet ones too, this was sure made for the 300th chapter, but it's also a good breaking point so everyone can rest from all the battles that have been going on(even though they have been awesome).

Couldn't agree more with Kanic. One of the reasons that makes Fairy Tail one of my favorite mangas is that the story is not only based on battles, there is some nice background to it.

Also, there was nice character interaction in last weeks chapter, as for this one  i was happy to see how Gildarts was doing and how he is together with the rest of the guild in his own way. So for me this was a chapter to be appreciated.
