Just because their last victory made them famous doesn't mean they hadn't won the tournament before. It could just be that the last year was so overwhelming for them that it made them extremely popular or maybe last year they decided to pull off all the stops to make them famous.



If you're going by implication, there's a lot of implication for them winning the past 7 years for the tournament as well.

Sooooo apparently Natsu is so strong that he can defeat 2 dragons at once ? Since Sting and Rogue both defeated their own dragon hmmmm . I thought the dragons were stronger then that , i was hoping Sting and Rogue were actually stronger than the Black Dragon . But i guess all the other dragons werent half as strong as the black dragon then since they lost so easily . Unless you are telling me that they backstabbed the dragon SOMEHOW in 1 hit to kill them off . Was hoping Natsu would put up a good fight but still get in trouble and Gajeel would save the day . Now i dont even see a way for Gajeel to get anymore of the action . (Unless some asshole interupts the competition which might be coming ?) Natsu , Lucy and Erza all got their epic moment (even though lucy lost) SO GIVE GRAY HIS EPIC MOMENT!

BULLSHIT. Dropping this manga.... it's just not worth my time.

i enjoyed this for some reason despite feeling completely trolled by how natsu randomly powered up again. Just the fact that his roar surpassed the shadow roar which was using dragon force confused me. Then an ultimate technique which beats union raid out of nowhere.. Fairy tail is just one of those mangas you enjoy, but if you try to make sense out of it your head explodes v_v

What was used was not Full Power Dragon Force. There was no dragon shaped aura on either Sting or rogue. What they used was a cheap knockoff. Sting and Rogue would shit their pants if they saw REAL Dragon Force
