Mx0 Chapter 99 Discussion

You guys keep bitching about the ending being weak, but you have to remember that the cancellation was probably sprung on the mangaka only a few weeks before we even knew about it.  It wasn't like he had a lot of time to prepare for it...



I thought the ending was nicely open ended and who knows, if an animation studio ever picks up this title to make a Mx0 anime then he might be picked up by another publisher and get to make a sequel manga series.

It's a shame that us non-Japanese, scanlation readers have no affect in marking the popularity of this great manga, so I'm really doubtful of a 2nd season. ^_^

Oh well...Lets hope for a sequel or at least an omake that tells what happens to Kuzumi.

Unfortunately, there will never be a sequel. It's been more than 10 years now, I think author is on other projects now...

Not really.  The whole "I can't use magic", "Oh wait, I got this cool plate that lets me negate magic...but I REALLY don't wanna EVER use it if at all possible EVER", "Oh wait, now I can occasionally use magic but only the last magic used on me"....was getting kinda old.  :P  



Seriously, the Star 69 plate was pushing it.  And he can't even use M0?  WTF.  I guess it would've made things interesting for another 50 or 60 chapters, but eventually it would've had to come to this.  Even WITH having learned magic I don't think he would use it that often, since at this point its like a "thing" with him that he doesn't use magic carelessly, so what you would see are situations where he avoided using magic as much as possible...but if forced he could, which would just make the fights more interesting.   (As a third year it wouldn't be feasible for him to continue avoiding fights ENTIRELY without magic anyway.)



I'd love a sequel to this that either showed him at the new school or showed him as he was coming back to the old one, but it doesn't seem likely, I guess.  

what a craptastic ending... at least they should had made it a time laps where he come back with the freaking real gold play or something... but seriously just like that.
