Mx0 Chapter 99 Discussion

This is sad i cant belive it ended theres so much more that could be done - we could have seen a whole 10 levels to get the black plate. Could have seen him fighting in the real world, or we could have atleast seen him finish school. I wish there was a sequel somehow.

This was a great manga. I read all 99 chapters today. It's a shame for it to end with so much potential for more. The ending was meh, but it didn't really ruin it or crush hope for a continuation. But after so much time, I doubt a continuation will ever happen.

mX0 was rushed to it's end like that because it was being cancelled because it wasn't very popular in japan.



So yeah, despite it being very popular in america, because of it's lack of interest in japan it went bye bye and isn't coming back as far as I know. I know it sucks it's one of my favorite manga's. Before I found this out I spent weeks waiting for the next chapter and even expected an anime to probably be made. Only to find this out when I went searching for information.

Ye, I agree w/the ending, it was way too ambiguous. Still though, I loved this manga.

actually, some rumors are that mx0 got very low ratings in Japan, so the mangaka was forced to close it quickly

I dont get why shonen jump had to axe it.. even if it's a bad seller in japan, its so much more popular in america/europe, that are two whole continents, japan is a small island t.t neither do i get get why he had to make an end. hunter x hunter is taking breaks every 2 month's for about half a year, he could've just pause it and use the time to search after a new publisher.



ending was good, if you consider the circumstances. as a ending of such a great manga its just disappointing.

Is there a sequel for this manga it's already been a couple years now.. so i wanted to know

Yeah, that's my question.  How popular of a manga was this in Japan?  You could tell the author really had the cancellation of this story sprung on him so suddenly because the quality of the last two or three chapters was simply for a rushed ending.  And besides, there was a lot of insinuated things that occurred in the mid-80 chapters that led me to believe there was going to be some great arcs.



Nevertheless, I'm really sad to see this go and not see the story how the manga-ka intended it to be.  Since it did get shut down, the possiblity for an anime adaptation is slim.  I'd like to know what happens next and more about the mysterious 3rd year students.  I also had imagined that maybe there was going to be some international magic competition between ALL of the magic schools that existed, whether only in Japan or the world.  That would have been hot.  



Anyway, 9/10 for me, because I enjoyed it so much.
