Up to the latest chapter, I think that everything starts to make a lot of sense, but at the same time, it becomes really complex.

I felted really sorry for Yuuki because she was stuck between Zero and Kaname's affection, yet she has this self struggle with herself of wanting to become stronger and knowing her past. But now, with her past cleared up that she is Kaname's sister, it has lessened a lot, but complicated matters for her and Zero.

I don't know if it's me, but I feel that Rima and Shiki have some kind of relationship because they're always together, like the time they were sent to exterminate the Level E, they went together. It makes sense since they're both model's of some sort, but the way Rima talks with Shiki in this chapter just confirms to me that they are more than just friends, specifically, when Rumi told Shiki to "wake up" and then Shiki starts resisting.

Overall, the nobles at the top are pretty confusing; there are a lot of relationships and a struggle of power.

I just wonder why Yuuki is an important key person that Rido needs...Cause technically, Rido is the first son of the Kuran family, since Kaname's father called Rido "older brother." And is Shiki not a pureblood? Cause his father is, yet he has a different last name and throughout the story, they had only mention Kaname being the pureblood among the Night Class. Maybe the sibling marriage has something to do with the child being a pureblood...

ACK! I can't wait till the next chapter comes out..~~~

Welll...I'm still a Yuuki/Zero fan 'til the end! I'm thinking more and more that Zero is not going to live though, which would make me very sad indeed.

I thought it was funny how when Yuuki smelled blood one of the first things she said was "it's not Zero." XD

Not really much to say at the moment, 'cept where's the next chapter.

The only reason why incest is not ethical can be applied only ONLY to humans. The reason is purely genetic. For pureblood vampires I guess that will only keep the offspring at full potential. It's PUREBLOOD. So there is nothing wrong with it. Incest is not wrong in itself but in its consequences. Since negative consequences don't apply for pureblood, it is ethical. (I'm very utilitarian)

It only make the story more dramatic and mesmerizing (all vampire love stories are really interesting and romantic, after all....)

So I was right about what Kaname Kuran said last chapter.... Will he be happier if he was really his brother and not his husband?

Finally, a place to rant about this chapter! I read the rest of the manga on onemanga.com out of lack of patience and to say the least I was, well, dissappointed. The characters have all gone haywire- personality wise- in the last few chapters of the series, and it just ended in a way I didn't expect. I won't say anything on that though if you haven't cheated and read that far, lol.

But, anyway, about the Kaname and Yuuki being siblings. Actually, I half-expected it to come to that. I think paled considerably when it was finally confirmed though. Although, the ethical aspect of it does makes sense. Still....GAH! Why do they have to be related???? >.<*

Oh, and just to comment on Yuuki's hair: I believe it had to do with her "awakening' as her real self. She had long hair when she had her memories and was living with the Kurans. So when the spell that her mother put on her was broken, her hair grew back. I dunno, I didn't really think much of it at the time because I was spazzing over the fact that they're RELATED!!!

What is it with manga and incest??? XD

I also thought that it was weird about the whole sibling marriage thing but when you think about it, with the Purebloods being so few in number, it makes sense.  And everyone's already mentioned the noble tradition.  ^^

ewww, kind of dirty that kaname x yuki biting scene.

Yeah, but the yaoi fans loved it.  I was surprised but I still couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Zero.  He hates vampires but was forced to do that, I could feel his shame, :(

I feel the exact opposite.  I think that Yuki will end up with Zero.  He did drink her blood after all.  And though I'm not sure if Yuki's blood was 'dormant' like her memories, we can't forget that he drank Kaname's.  Remember what Kaname said?

I'm through and through a Zero x Yuuki fan! I hope Zero doesn't give up yet! It's a wonder what he's thinking, because we have to remember that Zero still does hate vampires with a passion. Whether or not his hate or his love for Yuuki is stronger is something we will have to see. I guess Kaname assumed that Zero would never betray Yuuki though (and thus not him either).

Yeah, I love the internal conflict.  Poor Zero but his feelings for Yuki are real, though he may not know yet, and he can't blame her for not knowing.

The whole part with Shiki is confusing. But I'm glad to see someone fighting back now against the possessed Shiki. Go Rima~

Yeah, me too!  That's something good to see at least.  I was beginning to worry about Shiki.  I kind of wanted to see side romances too.

May I add, I HATE INCEST! But.....for some odd reason I like Kaname and Yuki Togther (I feel horrible).

I think it's because the reader can get a good sense that Kaname truly cares for Yuki, even if they have some twisted views and standards. :p  After all, he cared for her all those years after, even found her a safe place to live.

Even though I've already written my thoughts about this chapter, I agree with you. ^^ And, guys, am I the only one who didn't understand why suddenly Yuuki got a longer hair after Kaname "released" her? XD

Honestly, I think it has something to do with her awakening.  Don't all the female vampires have long hair in this manga?

Reply to lblsslx's post~

After all, we don't know how Yuki will feel or react to the situation when she finds out.  She could be totally repulsed by the idea of 'loving' her brother.  XD  Lord know's I would, but then again I'm not a Pureblood.

Yay, Saisin-Sorai.... you go ^^  I loved the long post.

So exciting. I mean, I know, but what is that last kaname's sentence supposed to mean?

THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.

                ----------------------------------------

                Poor Zero ;_;

and WTF, Vampire siblings can be married? OO;; ok. XD

It was a really complicated chapter. I hope everything will be understood soon.

I want chapter 37 |:

Zero better not mess this chance up...and push her away. But at least kaname is being cool and saying she only has to marry him if she wants too. i still hope she ends up with Zero tho. She was worried about him when she smelled the blood, so that is a good sign ^^

Actually, I noticed it also. I sort of shrugged it off. I guess we were all occupied with more important events then Yuuki getting long hair. Heh.

XDDDDD yeah, I guess, but what the hell XD her hair was always short! XD

Well, whatever.
