Gonna be amusing to watch Thorfinn and the rest of his team attempting to negotiate and communicate with the indigenous despite the language barrier between them

Yeah, even without knowing the actual historical events this is based on, there's a definite feeling that this is all going far too well for Thorfinn and co, not least in terms of how quickly they find the "ideal" land to cultivate (that "I'm sure we'll get along just fine" on the last page is a big red flag too). The question is, how long will the peaceful status quo remain before things start to go wrong?
