The part at the end where Hild (for the upteenth time) mentions killing Thorfinn if he kills someone is overdone and makes her too one-note as a character.  Her dad and master's ghosts already dissaprove of her trying to kill him before, so why stretch that out?

Real, this is so unnecessary, she say that every 5 chapters + doesn't fit with the Thorfinn VS Hild arc, when she accepted that she will not kill Thorfinn

What I enjoyed the most about this fight is how Thorfinn made use of the lessons taught to him by both of his "fathers".

When he let go of that blade of his, Yukimura paralleled him visually with Thors, this chapter he made a deliberate callback to the wolves fight between Askeladd and Thorfinn.

It really goes to show how much Thorfinn has developed as a character and how much closer he has moved to become the man that both of them wanted him to be/ saw in him

So Garm is not an illegitimate child of Thorkell.

I used to hate Thorfinn in prologue arc becuz of his angry one dimensional personality but damn he is come a long way and become such a cool,calm and savage character especially in last couple of chapters I love how he taunt Garm like Askeladd used to taunt him. Great chap I love everything but I don't like Garm as a character

Thorfinn knocked him out without problem. Thorfinn using Askeladd's teachings is very satisfying to see.



Interesting to see bit of Garm's backstory, wasn't what I expected. He was pretty much born as a psycho.
