The part at the end where Hild (for the upteenth time) mentions killing Thorfinn if he kills someone is overdone and makes her too one-note as a character.  Her dad and master's ghosts already dissaprove of her trying to kill him before, so why stretch that out?

Agreed, she's a really annoying character to me; especially because Thorfinn would obviously wreck her if he was serious. Repeating hollow threats don't make them any more frightening or even interesting.

Thorfin uses his training to beat Garm.  I like Garm never serious about anything Killing is a game. Even though he threatens to kill Thorfin he say he is his friend with the next breath. Good thing Trhorfin did not kill him as others watch out for Garm

Thorfinn said not killing his opponents makes him the better expert

I got so hyped seeing Thorfinn using askeladds technique!

Garm's past really reminded of the past of Sasaki Kojiro from Vagabond.

It was unexpected to see a flashback to Askeladd. Feels like decades since we left that guy. And finally it seems Garm will leave us alone and we can move on to the next phase of the story

Real, this is so unnecessary, she say that every 5 chapters + doesn't fit with the Thorfinn VS Hild arc, when she accepted that she will not kill Thorfinn
