Canute is known mostly as a wise ruler so it was to be expected that Yukimura would straighten him out at some point.



Thorfinn is finally on the boat and I guess it's fitting that the 100th chapter is him going home to his family. And afterwards off to Vinland...

I am amazed, on how this manga took such an unconventional bait-and-switch (going from dark to lighter as opposed to light to dark), and made it feel so natural.

I'm still shocked as to how this insanely f*cked up series can have such likeable characters, instead of something like Tokyo Ghoul where everybody has to be all emo.
