If they're going to let Thorfinn go, he should get a choice. Fight Canute's men, or escape. And if he escapes, he'll have to fight them at some time. So i'm expecting battles.
Thorgil might be a brute but he certainly got some wit to him unlike his foolish brother who hopefully will be a lot more humble after this whole ordeal (if he survives that is)
