Vinland Saga Chapter 47 Discussion

Askeladd has got a pretty solid story, what a character indeed.

"Ash Lad's" background is just as cold-blooded as I imagined, another awesome chapter.

Hot damn! Askeladd, what a character. Great backstory! A simple, messed up, but sweet revenge story.

Askeladd flexing with how to do it properly hehe.



On a more serious note, so glad to have finally learned more about Askeladd's past.

This manga is great, bingeread up until this point

Its like the perfect substitute once you catched up with berserk and need something else for the meantime

Thorkell is the fucking best character ever, and hes a rare case where i wouldnt even mind that much if he dies

With other awesome warrior characters like Darryl from TWD i would hate it once theyre dead but with Thorkell i know he wouldnt mind at all

I just hope he dies in the most epic way towards the end of the manga so that we can see more of his badassery and then he can go feast in Valhalla

This chapter was really really good and as always, I can't wait for the next.  =)

Second.. Really like it even though there wasn't any action.

Askeladds past is cool I guess, but does he just leave his mom in that stable all alone after his father picks him up? Then what was the whole revenge, and hating his father thing for if he didn't even care about his mother.

They're making it really hard to hate Askeladd..

Remember that we found out in a previous chapter that he brought his mother back to Wales to die there. So he didn't forget her.



Askeladd's back story was excellent.
