I figured the king intend something like that, sending his son out there in the first place. Typical, but what a monster. Then again, they are all monsters.



I wonder if Thorfinn and Chanute will become friends at some point.

The prince isn't worthless. He still has power. If he didn't then his father wouldn't be trying to kill him. All Askeladd has to do is make sure the prince doesn't die and emerges victorious in the battle with his brother.
