No matter how hard you try, you can’t outrun your past, it will follow wherever you go, lurking underneath the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal all the hidden secrets you have buried within yourself.
Joobin Mörk is an ordinary art student, with a love for horror fiction and a boring part-time job to come by.
When suddenly a murder occurred at his university, Joobin doesn’t pay too much attention to it, brushing it off as a “one angry student accident” confidently believing the culprit will be caught soon, Joobin doesn’t hide at his little apartment, like the other students. He goes by his day. When suddenly more murders occur, everyone including Joobin realizes that there might be a serial killer on the loose. When the handsome detective Jun Kim-Park entroles at the university in order to catch the culprit, the detective quickly realizes that Joobin might be involved in all of this.
Joobin on the other hand, is more than annoyed when the detective declares himself his own “personal bodyguard” and starts following the young man everywhere he goes. As the detective proceeds to investigate, he stumbles across secrets Joobin had long ago buried, along with a past that was doomed to be long forgotten.
But Jun Kim-Park was no fool and Joobin finds himself in the center of a dangerous cat and mouse game he so desperately had tried to avoid for so many years…

I wanted to ask something about one of the FMCs, because I stopped reading for quite a while and it was mostly because of some spoilers I read about her.

When I was reading, Na Xinyi was quite the annoying character as a whole. She seemed like a stuck up b**** and I couldn't read further, because it seemed like the MC cared for her too much. Then I read somewhere that the author's gf/wife is actually named Na Xinyi and she was going to be like a top FMC in the novel.

I don't want to know if she has changed. I just want to know if the MC still shows much affection towards her? Even changing this character for the 'better' won't erase her annoying past and the information on the wiki seems to be old, I imagine there might be other stuff involving her.

I'm currently reading chapter 540...and here they say that Gu Xiangwen and Gu Nianzhi aren't biologically related...however, I seem to remember that GXW's sister's(Gu Tian) daughter's DNA had a match with GNZ...Did I recall incorrectly or is it an error or is the mystery gonna further unravel?! ¯ (°_o)/¯
