The Rise of The Demon Lord

Ages ago, when humans fought over food and had nothing more than the clothes they used, an extinction event happened.

Ninety percent of the humans died.

but with it, new races rose.

Myths and legends once thought to be fiction came to life.

Phonixes flying in the air, creating trails of fire, dragons lording over mountains of gold, elves protecting the forests, and dwarves digging whole mountains hollow.

However, dangers also made their appearance

orcs hellbent of war and destruction, vampires seeking to drain towns of their blood, and the worst of them all

the demons

The demons lorded over a place full of souls; no matter what, if they came and went, all souls went there.

in between, to make contact with the world of flesh and blood and the world of souls and spirits, the realm of dreams, a realm where the conscious and unconscious minds can meet and where demons make deals to come to the real plane.

and to be born is the one meant to be able to rule them all, a being that can do as it pleases and become a true demon lord.
