Living as the Slayer, his name became the whispers of those frightened, spoken in both prayer and consternation for fear that his arrival might not only not bring peace to the dead, nor keep the living from death.
Dying as a God, his name became the word no one would dare to speak, for with his death, the evil slithered away, not killed or banished, but satisfied for long enough to leave the world to enjoy some semblance of peace, leaving his absence an emptiness the skies felt, but no one defied.
