You want to know about Giovanni Sungwo, don’t you? The struggling little mortal from Velmont, desperate to escape the filth of his pathetic existence.

Let me spoil it for you: Giovanni thinks he’s playing my game. Thinks he can use my System, my power, to claw his way out of the gutter and become some multi-billionaire, king of industry, or whatever nonsense his fragile mind dreams up. He’ll even try to justify it, call it survival, say it’s for his precious mother or his faraway sister.

But I’ll let you in on a little secret—he’s not special. None of them are. He’s just another pawn. Another fool who will dance when I pull the strings. Watch him. Watch as he dupes himself (literally), manipulates markets, and tries to bend the world—and me—to his will.
