Then what happened...

His last day in the land of the living, unknowing to him, was the day he received a snack that was meant to serve as his meal for the day—a chocolate. Along with the snack, was a game card.

Things turned out not as Dimm had expected after consuming the chocolate. Instead of gaining at least another fraction of life, he lost all he had left—he met death.

But...but there can be life after death—reincarnation.

Yet, another unexpected happened. He reincarnated into a virtual world as a Player, where he will be forced to undergo certain missions to ascertain he keeps this Player life or loses it.

Despite failing to awaken a system like the others had done, some words came into view with a blue screen hovering before his eyes.

    The Japanese setting is there but not enough to warrant being immense in myself to it, I think more research it required, felt very surface level. The story itself is a bit different to your average system concept as the mc defies his fate instead of following the typical route which i find it interesting.decent start but worldbuilding needs to imporve.

    Nioh's a badass, even if he's a little full of himself.  His power over the waves is sick.  The action is non-stop, and the mystery of what happened to the world keeps you guessing. If you're a fan of seeing how things are built and appreciate some technical detail in your sci-fi, this is a good pick.

    We made our way towards the hospital exit and I could see she was looking anxious and scared, so I did what any man would've done and grasped her hand. She gained a shock reaction form this and jumped a little. I saw her look down in embarrassment and I chuckled a little causing her to pout cutely. We stayed silent mostly mainly because I wanted her to start the conversation as she must still be a little shaken from the earlier occurrence. We looked around the town and saw that it was basically empty. I didn't even know how this was possible, but I heard screams from the distance. I smelt a lot of blood as the streets were littered with corpses of either human or beast. You wouldn't be able to tell that all this happened in less than a day.
