George Sterling, once a successful lawyer turned actor, then turned magician, finds himself in dire straits as the rise of Artificial Intelligence takes away all his livelihoods. This book uses characters and elements from L. Frank Baum\'s original Oz series which has entered the public domain and allows me to use them in my original book as long as I do not use the characters and elements from the adaptations that haven\'t entered the public domain.

    One of the many very best fantasy novels that I have read, it's got good characters fleshed out, the world is fleshed out as well to a decently big amount, the way abilities & powers work also are well executed.

    It's not just a simple action only novel, nor one that heavily focuses on something & leaves the previous stuff shown & mentioned in the background. If stuff is left it's not left for long & actually has an in-story reason for it.

    It has action, amusing interactions between characters, it has good power growth & character growth, it has mysteries waiting to be solved that keeps you entertained & excited for more while keeping you guessing; it's not overly hard to guess what may happen but it's definitely not easy if you don't often read novels or fics that have mysteries in them, but trust me if author wanted he could definitely make it more difficult than it already is.

    Shameless Author here! Probably a narcissist, too, for leaving a five-star review on his own book.

    The AI seriously take over the jobs from mankind. That sad reality, but well, that what happen when capitalist cane for industrial revolution back then.... It about stepping forwart. Nice blurb, will read it for sure!

    Hello author, just found you through your comment at the "Update Daily (Or Not?)" article in inkstone. I haven't started to read, but for now i give you 5 stars for the interesting sypnosis (Little error at the start "turned actor turned magician"). I will change or not change depending on the story in the coming days or week (after I finish the novel I'm reading). Good day!
