Deimos stands out as the only fully realized character, brimming with emotion and personality. He's the primary reason many readers, including myself, keep coming back. Though he's a self-centered demon infatuated with Minako, relentlessly pursuing her even when she clearly refuses him, his portrayal is compelling and entertaining. Speaking of Deimos, the artwork by Yuho Ashibe is breathtakingly expressive. I actually own the art book, which I highly recommend if you become a fan of the series or simply admire the art.
Bride of Deimos is worth exploring if you enjoy horror laced with a tragic, obsessive one-sided romance and can overlook the writing's shortcomings regarding the plot and dated views. Remember, this work was published between the 1970s and 1990s, so it wasn't crafted with modern audiences in mind due to differing societal norms then versus now. The presence of nudity might also deter some readers. Personally, I found no issue with how nudity was depicted and integrated into the storyline; it's more restrained compared to today's manga and not excessively used, though it could still be off-putting for certain readers. Another potential drawback is that the manga isn't fully translated into English or any other language apart from Japanese, as far as I know. You can access up to volume 9, chapter 52 in English through unofficial translations, but the series spans 17 volumes in total. Purchasing the books is an option, though the high demand makes them extremely costly in English, especially beyond volume 7.
