Popular Reviews
As mentioned, this manga complements the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's anime. The chapters depict events occurring before, after, and even between the events of the Nanoha A's anime.
Specifically, Chapters 0-3 take place prior to the Nanoha A's anime, Chapters 4-5 cover events during the anime, and Chapters 6-7 explore what happens immediately after the anime concludes.
The chapters are narrated from the perspectives of Nanoha, Fate, Hayate, and their fellow comrades and friends, focusing on their interactions. If you're expecting a lot of action in this manga series, you might be let down, as most of the content revolves around the main characters' relationships with each other.
Regardless, I found these chapters highly enjoyable. While I appreciated the action in the Nanoha A's manga, I wished for more character interaction, which this manga delivered excellently. If you didn't get enough of Nanoha/Fate's school life or desired a longer conclusion to the A's anime, you'll likely appreciate this series.
The art style in this series is impressive, featuring the excellent character designs from the anime.
In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed this short series and recommend it to anyone who liked the Nanoha A's anime. It's worth giving this manga series a try.
