Peerless. The only word that fits this book. Everything is on point! The intrigue, character complexities and dynamic family relationships all cluster to create pure, natural drama. The dark and psychological factors of the book makes it all the more gripping and relatable as the characters are properly portrayed. The plot itself is a masterpiece! Kudos to the author for keeping me addicted, can't wait to see how everything turns out... 5 stars, no cap.

I am shamelessly giving my own novel a review. Kidding aside, I've noticed a lot of authors have been doing this to effectively give updates and communicate to their readers. Sooooo, I decided to do it as well. I was gone for a few weeks due to a health condition. But I am back now and I have never been better.As an Author and a fellow reader as well, it is my responsibility to be consistent in updating my work and making sure that everyone is satisfied with it, including me of course, and I understand how frustrating it must feel for all of you to wait so long for a novel to release a chapter.In order to make up for it, I've decided to make it a personal goal to release at least 3 chapters a day to recuperate those days that I've missed while making sure that the quality of the work isn't getting affected. I don't know how long this would last, because I am just very fired up these past couple of days. Nevertheless, I'll make sure to be consistent in my updates. This review is quite long and contains spoilers.This story has similarities to ‘Rebirth Of The Thief Who Roamed The World’ but I believe that the author did not simply copied ROTTWRTW but merely took inspiration from it. Criticisms:The way the author writes the MC is somewhat unrealistic. I mean you get to takeover the body of a pathetic man and then suddenly becomes attached to the wife and kid of the man. Uhhh, what? Even if he gained the knowledge of the previous man it clearly shows that the man was selfish. Even his own ‘daughter’ was cautious of him. Also, his ‘best friend’ lends him 20,000 (on what I assumed to be RMB) of his family savings to guy who he knows to be a jobless gambler on the basis that he will changed based on the phone call the MC made? I mean the man before the MC took over already borrowed money from him, why on earth would he still lend money to the MC? It was just too unrealistic. That’s over 3,000 USD with the 20,000 RMB included! No man in his right mind would give his family savings to a jobless gambler. It would be better to just make the goons he beat up to not be working for the lady he saved but known hooligans in the area and receives monetary reward from the police and the compensation from the lady later in the story as the writer seems to do next. This is a better plot armor in my opinion than the ‘best friend’ generously loaning his family savings route.The author also tends to use colon when the characters are talking. This way of letting the readers know that a conversation is happening is somewhat annoying since there are already quotation marks. It makes the story look like a script rather than a novel. Also,  many of the initial quotation marks are double commas. I don’t know if it’s intentional or because of the software used by the author. Nonetheless, it is distracting.Commendations:The story has potential to become a great novel. The way the author writes the MC’s interaction to his ‘kid’ just makes you smile and go ‘A***ww’. The POV of the other characters is also well written and gives the story a better view on what the attitude of the man before the MC took over. The author also writes the MC’s character differently when he’s either in the real world or in the VR game. In the real world he acts like any father should. He spoils his only ‘daughter’ and provides for his family but when he’s in the VR game, He is cunning and swift like a Thief/Assassin with a bit of shamelessness. Suggestions:You can use a game update to make non-combat skills available to the game. Where in the skills has levels from 1-99 and Proficiency System. Using the levels as barriers to be able to create a better equipment/consumable i.e. player must be lvl. 10 in Potion Crafting to create a Strength Potion. Another is to use skill affinities as rewards to get proficient in the skills faster either through hidden quests, luck or real life skills. This opens up a whole new way of using the MC’s past knowledge to his advantage. Make the early products be lacking compared to the drops available but becomes better based on the skill proficiency of the player. Also, you can also make used of the Tier system the equipments available in the game as of now. Those with high proficiency can get a basic gear i.e. Leather armor with a Silver rating with better stats compared to those created by players with lower proficiency to the skill.Note: Keep up the good work! So far, I honestly enjoy reading this novel. Although it has flaws but which novel doesn’t? Hopefully the next chapters gets better.
