For years, she\'s scrounged for food and avoided danger, until she trains a pack of stray dogs to beg from nobles.

Mallory\'s luck seems to change when she obtains a gold coin, enough to sustain her for a year. However, this newfound fortune becomes the catalyst for her downfall.
