This recommendation is suitable for those who enjoy heartwarming high school romance with a subtle touch of darkness. Despite sharing some similarities with "Bloom into You" in its storytelling, the narratives diverge. First love stories often have a familiar progression, as observed here. I gave it a 4-star rating because I was eager for more - to explore what comes after their relationship blossoms. The side content is entertaining, but I crave for even deeper insights or developments.

This novel is truly delightful. It's an excellent choice for those who enjoy a gentle, real-life story. The two main characters are charmingly portrayed and their developing relationship is heartwarming. The supporting cast adds depth with their distinct personalities, and the author does an exceptional job capturing the essence of high school adolescence.

However, I personally would have appreciated more intimate moments between the protagonists, particularly once they confess their love. I feel that the post-romance section could benefit from a bit more depth and perhaps a few more explicit scenes (although censorship might play a role).

Overall, it's a delightful read that leaves one feeling uplifted and content. The connection between Chi Tang and You Yu is truly blossoming, and it's a joy to follow their journey.

This is one of the finest school life/slice-of-life novels I've come across. The growth of the main character (MC) and female lead (FL) is commendable, executed with a subtle and organic progression. Despite some minor conflict, their interactions are filled with a delightful fluffiness. The author's portrayal of everyday life and pacing struck a perfect balance.

I've given it a full 5-star rating despite the less-than-ideal translation, as I truly enjoyed the story and felt it didn't deserve such a deduction. There are indeed grammatical and spelling errors, but I believe it's important to acknowledge the translator's efforts, as without them, I wouldn't have been able to experience this book. I encourage them for future endeavors.

I truly enjoyed this story - it's adorable with a touch of depth. Despite the serious elements, it's overall a delightful read, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's surprising that no one else has reviewed it before; it's unfortunate that it's discontinued. I can see why "Cereal Is Life" had a positive take on it, as it's a warm and heartfelt narrative. The machine translation isn't difficult to comprehend at all.

As for the extra content, I'm puzzled about the changes, but perhaps the original translation would provide more clarity. Luckily, there's a new development – someone has picked it up! Yay!

Oh wow, what an incredible read! The character development is理智且深沉, which might not appeal to everyone's taste. However, the connection between the protagonist and the female lead is profound and emotionally resonant. I was prepared for a twist, but the ending still caught me off guard. Personally, I really enjoyed the additional depth, and I wish the main storyline delved deeper into their romantic relationship.

Overall, the novel is quite adorable. Although there are occasional translation quirks, it's still quite readable. The pace picked up towards the end, which I thought was fitting. However, Chapter 65 was a shocker – quite unexpected, really (laughs). If you're prepared for it, just give it a chance, because the ending is super cute.

Regarding Chapter 65, there are sensitive topics involved, including blood, the murder of a young baby and his mother, severe child abuse, and extremely graphic depictions like dismemberment. Please be warned that there are spoilers ahead.

UPDATE: The part about the translation does not pertain to hazevie's version. It was the only alternative available when I completed the novel. Please remember this when reading the final paragraph.

This was my first school-themed slice-of-life Bai He novel, and it was incredibly heartwarming. The two main characters, Chi Tang and You Yu, faced tough的家庭背景 while navigating high school. Their friendship and potential romantic connection were portrayed with such ease and familiarity that it felt comfortable to root for them without fearing major obstacles. The saddest moments revolved around the portrayal of their fathers, highlighting how un deserving they were to have such amazing daughters like Chi Tang and You Yu.

I left the story feeling an immense love and affection for these girls, spending hours daily to delve deeper into their dynamics. I was eager to witness their character development and the revelation of their feelings beyond friendship, as well as the novel's conclusion.

However, I must mention that the translation had some shortcomings, with inconsistent pronoun usage (switching between she/her and he/him) and narrative perspective shifts (from third to first person), which occasionally disrupted the flow. If you're considering reading, be aware that this might be a point of concern for you.

I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative. Both the main character (MC) and female lead (FL) faced challenging circumstances, but they refrained from dwelling on their misfortunes and diligently worked towards a brighter future. This admirable resilience endears them to me. The depth of their connection and care for one another was truly touching.

My sole critique pertains to the translation quality. While the language was generally understandable, there were areas with poor grammar, punctuation, and word choice that detracted from the overall reading experience. A more polished translation would have significantly enhanced my enjoyment. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the translated version being freely available, and I appreciate the translator's efforts. I genuinely hope they can refine their skills in the future <3.
