In a remote oriental country, there is a small and odd restaurant that has refused the three-star rating by the Michelin Guide several times.
“The price is fairly expensive over there, 288RMB for a set meal of Egg Fried Rice and a bowl of soup. Ah, and an extra small plate of pickled vegetables as well. Even so, there are still a long line of people queuing up and waiting for a taste. Reservations are not accepted there, only waiting and queuing personally is allowed.
“Numerous people fly there on their private planes just to queue up. Furthermore, parking bays and parking spots are not provided there. The service is terrible here. Customers have to clear the tableware themselves and wipe the table as well. For god’s sake, the boss is literally crazy.”

The "Gourmet Food Supplier" is a delightful culinary journey that captivated my senses. The prose is a delectable blend of vivid descriptions and engaging characters, taking me on an unexpected odyssey through the world of fine dining. Each chapter is a gastronomic feast, leaving me craving more of the protagonist's quest for authentic flavors and the unbreakable bonds formed over exquisite dishes. The novel's depth in exploring not just food but also human connections made it a standout read for me. A must-read for any food lover and a heartwarming tale that stays with you long after the last bite.

The novel "Gourmet Food Supplier" is a delightful culinary journey that captivates readers with its rich tapestry of flavors, both literal and metaphorical. Set against the backdrop of a bustling food industry, it weaves a tale of passion, ambition, and the profound connection between food and culture. The protagonist's quest to supply the finest ingredients and elevate ordinary meals into extraordinary experiences serves as a metaphor for our own pursuit of excellence in life.

The story is not just about gourmet delicacies; it delves deep into the human experience, exploring the bonds formed over shared meals, the impact of tradition on personal growth, and the power of taste to evoke memories and emotions. Each character is intricately drawn, revealing their vulnerabilities and desires through their encounters with food.

What makes this novel truly special is its ability to balance the sensuousness of food descriptions with the emotional depth of its characters. It reminds us that, much like the best dishes, life is a symphony of flavors, textures, and experiences that come together to create a rich, satisfying narrative.

In conclusion, "Gourmet Food Supplier" is a heartwarming and thought-provoking read that invites us to savor every bite – both on the page and in our imagination. It's a testament to the power of storytelling and the universal language of food, reminding us that even the most mundane moments can be transformed by the magic of a well-crafted meal.

I'm surprised to see this here its a really good read if you can ignore the nationalism and biases, as it covers at least more than half of the characters if not all. its a good past time.
another thing , (I'm not sure if its allowed so I wont mention the name or add link), this is completed in a different site with real low quality(maybe MTL) translation, but if you mastered the dao of trashlation you'll understand it.

Like many lightnovels, Gourmet Food Supplier reeks of Chinese nationalism, although it tries (and fails) to be subtle about it.

Yuan Zhou aspires to be a master chef. Ok. Cool. You would expect that a master chef would like to learn and "master" every dish out there. Yet whenever the MC learns a western dish (a rarity), he internally rants about "damned capitalism" and other such bs about why foreign dishes are inferior versions of more authentic, Chinese dishes.

If the author is familiar with Chinese cuisine and thinks it is the best food out there, why not make Yuan Zhou the "Chinese Master Chef," or just be blatant and make the MC say that "Chinese food = best food, therefore Master Chef = someone who can cook Chinese dishes."

Again, like many others, this author wants to portray that they are an unbiased source, and simultaneously convey that China rules and every other country sucks. Sorry, but both of those statements just cannot be true.
