Eric Ivesone is your typical overworked yet overly determined young man working for the biggest android manufacturer in the entire state. Led by Charles Wong, AI Synergies is the top performing android business in the world.

And he has one rule: Emotions have no place in androids. They have to be perfect, and emotions only serve to cloud human judgement, causing impurities and failures. And Wong hates nothing more than failure.

So when Eric stumbles across a discarded android frame, his first instinct is to leave it for the scrapheap. But something pulls him to bring it home and restore it, and that\'s when he discovers that this particular android is different from all the others: She has feelings, emotions, thoughts, desires, which are forbidden from being implanted into artificial lifeforms.

Knowing what will happen to her if anyone finds out, Eric makes it his mission to protect her, for she is the true advancement marvel of this century. But with the entire AI Synergies company on his tail, things are bound to get bumpy.
