The gods have vanished. The bridges between the worlds were severed. The races were left separated and struggling to survive. Then, they learned to live without their gods...

One race in particular excelled far above the rest, the ancients. Then, the gods suddenly returned, weakened on their doorstep. Their previous good relationship was severed, and the gods were captured by the ancients.

With this, the ancients created a devious game to conquer unsuspecting worlds, and subjugate them before they have a chance to properly grow. The Hex Trials.

Eventually, they commanded the cosmos and all the races in it. They allowed their fellow races to become their brethren as they looked to new horizons.

But they awoke the great Auclair, the god of death. A monster who once ate half the universe in rage. A being that the gods had tried so desperately to seal in the depths of the universe.

Cover is temporary and I hope you enjoy the story. If so, maybe put it in your library, and if you really enjoy it, maybe even give it a power stone.

It really helps, especially since this is for a contest. I\'d really appreciate it! I\'m trying for a 1 chapter per day schedule.

"\\"Consumption of Worlds\\" is an enthralling literary journey that captivates from the very first page. The narrative weaves a tapestry of vivid worlds, each one more alluring than the last, leaving me breathless with anticipation. The protagonist's吞噬世界的渴望不仅是对知识的追求,更是对存在深层次的探索. The author's prose is a delectable blend of imagination and intellectual stimulation, making it difficult to put down. A thought-provoking read that stays with you long after the final turn. Highly recommended for those who crave immersive storytelling and boundary-pushing narratives."

"Consumption of Worlds" is a thought-provoking novel that delves into the complex interplay between humanity, technology, and our insatiable quest for knowledge and power. The narrative weaves together elements of science fiction with philosophical inquiries, challenging readers to ponder the consequences of our relentless consumption of resources and the impact it has on both the physical and virtual realms.

The title itself suggests a metaphor for the relentless assimilation of information and the Earth's natural assets, as if the world were a commodity to be consumed without regard for its limits. The characters, driven by ambition and curiosity, grapple with the ethical dilemmas that arise from this consumption, reflecting on the blurred lines between progress and exploitation.

This novel forces readers to confront the darker side of human nature, exploring themes of greed, environmental degradation, and the pursuit of immortality through digital means. It asks us to question the price we pay for advancement and whether the cost is too high in terms of our connection to the natural world and each other.

In a human tone, "Consumption of Worlds" serves as a cautionary tale, urging us to find balance and empathy in our quest for understanding, lest we inadvertently devour the foundations of our own existence. It encourages us to consider the long-term implications of our actions and the responsibility we have towards future generations. Through its engaging narrative and profound themes, the book leaves a lasting impression, prompting introspection and dialogue about the path we choose to take as a species.

I haven't read this but I know a lot of wuxia light novel characters (especially from "trashy" Novels) have names that translate litterally into their defining traits. So a the name of a beautiful moon princess might translate into "moon beauty". Most translators will instead leave their names untranslated so they make more sense or just change the name to one that better fits English naming conventions. But when they translate the names verbatim you get "Dark demon", "White god", "moon beauty", etc.
