In a steampunk world where magic and technology intertwine, Adonis is a 24-year-old man who awakens to find himself in the body of a deceased high-ranking member of the Council. Formerly Kosuke Haruki, a mundane individual from a different life, Adonis now inhabits a world of intricate power dynamics and arcane secrets.

Adonis quickly learns that his new body, formerly belonging to a man named Adonis, possesses significant magical abilities. Specifically, he has access to the rare and potent Chains Path, which allows him to manipulate fate, control magical constructs, and subtly influence events. As he explores these newfound powers, he discovers the vast potential they hold for shaping the world around him.

The world Adonis finds himself in is a land of five continents and seven seas, marked by the disappearance of the Lost Continent—an enigmatic and powerful land that vanished centuries ago. The current age, known as the Age of Evolution, is defined by rapid advancements in both magic and technology, creating a complex political landscape dominated by four great nations: the Empire of Eren, the Dominion of Arkanis, the Freehold Republic, and the Holy Kingdom of Solara.

As Adonis delves into the history and politics of this world, he uncovers classified information about key figures such as Alistair Thorn, a mysterious and influential mage whose true powers and intentions remain shrouded in secrecy. Adonis also learns about the rulers of the four great nations, each vying for dominance in a world where power is ever-shifting.

With this knowledge, Adonis begins to devise a plan to escape his precarious situation and reposition himself advantageously. Using his Chains Path abilities, he aims to subtly manipulate events and influence key players, setting in motion a series of actions that could alter the course of history.
