I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Actually, I'm reviewing it now to prepare a summary for myself when I revisit it later. I have a habit of binge-reading, so I can't bear the weekly wait for new chapters or episodes, which leads to me forgetting about them until there's a backlog.

Among the genre of Infinite Flow or World Hopping, particularly the yaoi variant, I believe this is one of the better ones. Although my preference leans towards horror-themed stories, it might be because of that bias. What I appreciate most about the main character, Zhou Yu, is his complexity. He has multiple layers to his personality.

    Spoilers follow:

Zhou Yu is intriguing due to his calm demeanor under pressure, photographic memory, and poker face. However, what sets him apart is how his character transforms based on the world he possesses. For instance, in the first world, he was cheerful and friendly, while in the second, he was paranoid and anxious. In the third world, he seemed relatable, even taking charge for once. In the fourth world, he temporarily forgot his reincarnation and experienced depression, which he later recovered from.

The current world interests me the most because Zhou Yu, unaware of his past lives like the main love interest (ML), is now a laid-back guy who believes he's straight. Seeing him act foolish is quite entertaining, and he's hilarious.

The ML is harder to pin down since he doesn't remember his previous lives. Initially, in the first arc, his introduction was delightful with his unpredictable behavior, including his yandere tendencies and vengeful ghost instincts held in check for love. I enjoyed seeing him as a mix of Frankenstein's monster and Cthulhu, both naive in different ways.

In the third arc, it felt shorter and less detailed, and the ML's selfish nature was a drawback. However, the body-snatching theme made it enjoyable. The MC's struggle with the situation was initially amusing but became disorienting towards the end.

In the fourth arc, as Morris, the ML developed more, with the MC and ML sharing a close friendship and facing a crisis together. The challenge they faced in being together due to the strict religious beliefs and homophobia added depth to their relationship.

The current fifth arc, with the ML being a demon masquerading as a clown, is intriguing but leaves me unsure of his true identity. Despite the MC's initial confusion, the romantic tension remains, but it's complicated by the fact that they're unaware they're the same person.

Side characters are decently portrayed, but not extraordinary. The MC's parents often come across as unpleasant, and the outsiders' attitudes towards the netizens and their world are confusing. They seem to look down on those from earlier eras, which I find hard to understand. Their lack of teamwork is another issue.

In conclusion, this story is definitely worth reading, despite its quirks and inconsistencies.

Though I haven't completed the novel (and doubt I will unless the translators resume, as I struggle with machine translations), I must admit that it has been quite an enjoyable read for leisurely browsing. My current favorite arc is the first one, but that might change once more chapters are available. There were a few moments in the story where I found the male lead's lack of reaction to being referred to as "he" after initially being called "she" slightly unsettling. Overall, it's a decent read. Since I haven't finished it, I'll rate it 4 stars for now.

In summary, the book is enjoyable despite not being filled with intense tension or fear. It primarily revolves around the main characters (MC and ML) transmigrating to various worlds where the ML assumes the role of a horror villain, while the MC serves as cannon fodder. Many "players," who are morally questionable, seek to kill the ML and often mistreat the MC, which fuels the ML's anger.

The relationship between the MC and ML is sweet, with the ML attempting to win the MC's affection and considering their feelings. The ML displays a yandere (hurt-me-to-get-to-you) personality, but both characters are fiercely loyal to each other. The story features multiple arcs in different worlds and characters, with some being more engaging than others; personally, the first and fourth arcs stood out.

The MC demonstrates intelligence, though not necessarily cunning, and empathizes with the ML's actions, even if they involve violence. The ML is a classic yandere, solely devoted to the MC.

However, the narrative occasionally switches abruptly, causing confusion, particularly when shifting to the "players' perspective." Another issue is that the story concludes abruptly after the characters confess their love, without delving into their lives afterward. A more detailed epilogue would have been appreciated. There were also moments of confusion and plot holes that resolved in the ending, which was satisfactory yet somewhat predictable.

I'm genuinely having a great time with this. The theatrical segment featuring the global consciousness AI's, in particular, has captivated me. Although the translation isn't finished and I'm relying on my own understanding (Machine Translation), I don't perceive any significant hostility towards the senseless slaughters. After all, I appreciate that level of intensity, so I wouldn't necessarily厌恶 it.

The pacing in "Quick Transmigration" seems increasingly hurried as the first few stories unfold, particularly towards their conclusions. The protagonist's character development appears inconsistent, almost like different personas, suggesting the author struggled to establish a clear identity for them. Despite being labeled under the horror genre, it fails to elicit any genuine fear. The inclusion of a Cthulhu tale was a unique touch, but due to the rushed execution, it didn't contribute significantly to the narrative.

In essence, the book is overly rushed, lacks depth, and sticks to the basics. However, one could argue that it's still a decently readable, if somewhat hastily executed, quick transmigration story.

"This is the sweetest and most adorable story I've come across in a while. The main character, MC, is an endearing and slightly silly individual, while the love interest, ML, is a charming yandere type. He's incredibly devoted and fiercely protective of MC, ensuring his well-being without any intention of causing harm."

This book didn't resonate with me at all. The gender aspect in the beginning was a significant point of discomfort. I had no issue with the male lead (ML) being non-binary previously, but the sudden shift in their pronouns from "her" and "she" to "him" and "her" without any substantial exploration of their identity threw me off. It felt underdeveloped, especially if they weren't portrayed as gender fluid.

The main character (MC) was lackluster as well. They came across as cold and distant, seemingly only truly caring about the ML, which struck me as unhealthy dynamics. Their personality didn't stand out or evoke any strong emotions.

Overall, the writing quality was quite mediocre and seemed to lack maturity in several aspects. My rating for this book would be 1.0/5.0.

This narrative serves as my light-hearted escape, not the most polished work out there, and the plot resolutions, let's say, lack strength. However, the author truly shines when it comes to concept creation. Each world they introduce offers a unique twist, which, as someone who appreciates innovative ideas, I find highly engaging. Despite occasional struggles with character development, the characters here are likable enough to keep me invested, even if the main characters don't leave a lasting impression. I'm eagerly anticipating more worlds to be explored by the author.
