Scarlet Rhapsody

This is my second book by this author and I'm loving every minute of it. You can tell they've learned a lot from their previous novels and this one really stands out in the world building and power system elements. Just shy of a hundred chapters in but nothing seems rushed with this one. It really is excellent!

1. The name Julien feels a bit strange to me, and it's inconvenient to read (I’m reading through a browser with Google Translate translating the novel into my native language since the app translates incredibly poorly and sometimes deletes paragraphs of text during translation. After translation, the name looks like a hard-to-pronounce French name). I hope the character is called something else later on; it’s not a big problem, just an inconvenience.  2. A damn cliffhanger in chapter 4—moments like these are why I leave novels until at least 100 chapters have accumulated.  3. So far, I like the plot, especially the fact that he didn’t pretend to be that woman’s son from the start. That’s a huge plus.  4. I’m one of those who read "VSOL" up to the ongoing chapters, and I enjoyed it. I’m waiting for the continuation, and I’m really glad the author isn’t abandoning that novel to start this one.

Ardan memulai dengan informasi tentang bumi, hal penting yang jadi perhatian adalah, semua kota yang dulu ada  di bumi telah di hancurkan dan di jadikan ke alam lagi, hanya 10 kota yang boleh berdiri saat ini, yang tersebar di 5 benua(ada benua yang tergabung saat ini), penduduk bumi boleh pergi meninggalkan kota untuk jalan-jalan atau tinggal dengan batas 1 bulan sebelum harus pulang ke kota dan bisa keluar lagi setelahnya, namun demikian tidak boleh membangun bangunan untuk tinggal, jadi yang memungkinkan untuk tinggal di luar kota adalah dengan membangun goa, atau ruangan bawah tanah jika mampu membuatnya tanpa ketahuan pemerintah. Di kabarkan terdapat sejumlah terran yang tinggal di luar kota secara tersembunyi, dan tidak tercatat berapa jumlahnya namun perkiraan mencapai angka 10 juta.
