In December 2019, Auburn witnessed a fresh start, mending relationships and fostering healing. Whitney York and Hollis Bogard believed their shared strength would make future challenges easier. However, five months later, as they prepared a special Christmas gift for their trip to New York, Hollis received some unwelcome news. Tensions with her parents remained unresolved, especially with Dalton's ongoing battle for justice against a wealthy driver responsible for his paralysis. As Hollis grappled with her inner turmoil, the possibility of a relapse loomed. Whitney, estranged from her once-perfect family, had lost all contact. During their time in New York, an unexpected reunion awaited – Whitney encountered the late Theresa, her famous sister, at her funeral. Determined to stand by Hollis, who her parents held accountable for remaining in Maine, Whitney insisted on attending together. the story started okay, but I didn't like the way she thought of getting a revenge. she became slutty, stooped down like a wh*re, seduced a married man that left and abandoned her only to fall for him all over again. I mean... that's not a main character to look up to..

The novel is something I can't describe, sometimes you like it too much and sometimes it gets boring too much.

So one can only read and judge oneself if this is for him/her.
