Mary, the Child of Slaughter was once a weak sick orphan girl from a blue star known as Earth. And on that planet she was never an important or special figure. She was just one of the many people who had already accepted their demise but it seems that fate had other plans for her as she was suddenly pulled into The World of Chaos stripping her away of her peaceful and free life Struggling to survive in this new and unfamilliar world with her sickly body Mary tried her best to adapt to this new environment but was left broken in the end as the cruel and harsh reality has transformed her into a cold killing machine of war But thankfully the Light of Hope still existed for her in this cursed world as she encountered a being that will be her soulmate Ethan Bright. The Archduke of Dreams He was The Perfect Being feared by the Gods, the Promised Fifth Celestial who was prophesied to be the one who will end all this madness His very existence gave people hope But even that was stripped away from them as everything they had once valued was lost and destroyed Facing the End of Everything Ethan changed he was no longer the Perfect Being, the loving husband, and good father. Now he was nothing but a broken, empty shell of his former self that was once known as the symbol of hope Ethan has fallen. He has now become a sinner and a being that was now known as the Sin of Avaritia After his fall he traveled the vast world hunting down monsters and demons alike ruthlessly and indiscrimanately killing in the name of chasing after the Celestials while leaving behind a trail of destruction During this time many tried their best to stop him, save him or lessen his burdens but they all fell one after another along the way as they were unable to traverse the cruel and thorny path that he has chosen as eventually only Mary remained to accompany him to the end of this hateful journey as she remained the last and only thing that Ethan had left in his arms that he could protect Realizing his foolishness and the consequences of his actions at the loss of his comrades, friends, and people he fully transformed into the being that will be known as The One Who Wished as he continued falling down the path of despair Ethan filled with regrets wanting to save atleast someone tried to somehow atone and pay for his sins as he researched for a possible way to lessen his own guilt but there was nothing he could do to fix what's already been done. Just as he was faced with despair once again he found a possibility. A slim and uncertain Hope But the slim and uncertain aspects of this gamble didn't matter to Ethan. Not anymore as he had already crossed the line a long time ago Therefore before the End reached them he cursed Mary with a twisted form of immortality created from his own selfish thoughts and desires hoping that she will live on and keep on moving even if she hated him and cursed him But even then somewhere in his heart he hoped for her understanding even though he knew that he didn't deserve her forgiveness nor her understanding yet he still hoped that someday she will find it somewhere in her heart to forgive him and to change this hopeless future that he has failed to change And that was exactly what he managed to achieve as each iteration of Mary and Ethan changed more and more And this time they will finally escape their predetermined path to face the irredeemable past filled with the sins and sinners of different times ************************************* Hello this is my first novel so there will be a lot mistakes but i hope that you will accompany me through this journey I won't be able to post consistenly but i will try my best so thank you for reading this far Also please comment what i should improve or add it really helps
