It's still too soon for me to review since there r only 10 chapters so far that have been updated. But! I still have to say I love it. Great start n I love MC's character. Although it was too easy the way she died in the beginning but meh, all I care about is how satisfying it's gonna be in her journey to her revenge. It's pretty fast paced so far but in a reasonable pace (I hate slow pace btw). So far this story is really promising n make u feel curious for more. And I hope the Author keep it stay that way until the end. No pressure! Thanks for ur hard work n I wish for this story to keep updating much often. ^^

Eu odiei a forma como o autor fez o par romântico do protagonista, odeio a forma como ele o fez fingir ser um garoto no começo pro meio, n gostei de como era a interação deles e como o autor colocava romance onde n deveria ter, pq até onde o protagonista sabia, o par dele era homem, n me entendam mal, n sou contra o relacionamento de pessoas de mesmo gênero, mas como leitor eu n consigo simpatizar, fora isso, a obra é incrível

The playwright of the anime is a notorious fanfic writer of TKA in Chinese fandom. She ships SMQ x YX and Hundred Blossom duo. So wrote slash fictions about those two couples. She drew so many personal view into the movie. The movie changed the personality of YX(from the very beginning of his journey as a gamer he’s already made up his mind and he didn’t play for SMQ; he never regretted running out of home for playing games, he’s already mentally matured and his character is already built up and grown up from ten years ago, he’s not the growing up type of MC.—quote from an interview with the author BB),  the age the SMC(She’s only 3/4 years younger than YX), sources of YX’s famous lines(even all of the motto-like lines SMQ said in the movie are from YX)......... the anime movie bombed at the box office in China because almost all of us, text-loyal fans, are boycotting it. Some of us even tore the prepurchased tickets up to show our anger.All I wanna say is that, pls pls pls don’t worship the anime movie as Bible . The real sources are only THESE TWO TEXTS: THE KING’S AVATAR AND THIS PREQUEL.

Less cringe than the mainstream ones but don't be happy, it's not by much.

PoA so far has done Really well. Solid updating stability, complex characters making their way in a feverish struggle to become stronger. Not to mention the world building, which gives you enough information to understand the medieval-esque landscape, yet at the same time leaving a layer of mystery as to whats beyond Demia, and beyond the planet. Overall, a really interesting read and a lot of fun, especially if you’re looking for something new to the cultivation genre.
