I’m Wendy, a Don’t Starve player who found myself in this new world with the game’s system.
To ensure my survival, I’ve been diligently clearing land and farming. But working alone proved too inefficient, so I began seeking companions.
My first companion was decent and hardworking, until one day he suddenly expressed ambitions of “are nobles and generals born to their status?” and sailed off to liberate the world;
My second companion had no such ideals and maintained his own base, but his temper was terrible and his personality twisted. He tried to kill me just because I sided with his brother – good thing I can resurrect;
My third companion had a better temperament, but his ice powers made him physically too cold. Staying near him for too long would cause health damage, forcing me to tearfully part ways…
After cycling through several companions and dying multiple times, I finally reached my current home and found my destined partner.
Tears welled in my eyes – finally, someone who doesn’t constantly think about sailing the seas but can properly farm with me! This is my home! This is my destined person! Nothing can separate us!
When Hawkeye first discovered the golden-haired girl on the island he’d chosen to settle on, he thought she was a surviving native royal and a Devil Fruit user.
She couldn’t get caught in the rain, claiming it would make her lose sanity; she was particularly careful about weather temperature, saying extreme cold or heat would cause health damage.
She appeared incredibly frail, yet dared to sail alone on a raft and return alive days later… She would farm through the night with lights, accompanied by a ghost-like entity she called her sister.
Hawkeye paid her no mind until she insisted on sailing with him, when he discovered this girl knew a ridiculously large number of people, was involved in tremendously troublesome matters, and everyone kept demanding he hand her over.
Wendy (clinging desperately, screaming hoarsely): “I’m not leaving! I want to spend my whole life with him! No one can tear us apart!”
Hawkeye: “…”
Since when did this happen? How come he didn’t know?
