I intended to rate it 3 out of 5 stars, not 2. I made it quite far, but ultimately, my frustration led me to abandon it. It appears that the author's original vision drifted in the later chapters, and the main character's character development felt forced to make him more endearing for the love interest. Upon reflection, I noticed similar issues in another story by this author, where the focus wavered and the protagonist became somewhat overly simplistic for the male lead's sake. The author undoubtedly possesses strong writing skills and an ability to create engaging stories at the start, but struggles with maintaining a coherent plot and delivering a satisfying conclusion.

To be honest, I didn't find the first storyline particularly engaging, but if you're a fan of deeply emotional dramatic narratives, it might resonate with you. However, the second arc really shines. The dynamic between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) is incredibly heartwarming, and I appreciate how they handle their relationship challenges like mature adults, discussing them openly and honestly.

"Please add a tragic tag, (ToT)
I truly enjoyed this novel, despite finishing only the first arc. The ending left me emotionally moved to tears.
The main characters, MC and ML, shouldn't have to endure such heartache. It was heartbreaking to see the MC depart from this world, leaving ML alone.
Why does the author have to inflict such pain on me? *sigh*
What I also appreciated were the well-developed supporting characters. They aren't one-dimensional; they play meaningful roles throughout the story and hold a special place in my heart."

MC: An Yi Nong
ML: Yu
This is a Yaoi quick reincarnation novel with five arcs, each containing approximately 35-45 chapters. The story revolves around MC, a deaf singer and actor who was tragically killed by an admirer. Despite his struggles and resilience, he is chosen for reincarnation. MC presents an exterior toughness but holds a softer heart, demonstrating responsibility and dedication to giving his best.

The ML, Yu, is deeply devoted to MC without being overly possessive. He allows MC autonomy and has no last name; it remains "Yu" throughout all arcs.

A major plot point involves bloodlines, where MC acquires different ones as he completes tasks, such as becoming a mermaid, Disney princess, druid, or something similar. The ML, who was once a tasker, awakened the Black Dragon Bloodline, known for its violence, leading to his capture and containment.

Here's a brief summary of the arcs:

1. Entertainment
2. Historical and Ghostly themes
3. Set in the 90s
4. Zerg-themed and includes a survival game element
5. Reincarnated in MC's original world with mutated animals and humans

While the novel stands out as one of the better quick reincarnation stories due to its lengthy, satisfying arcs that avoid the usual rushed pace, it does have some inconsistencies, with certain aspects receiving too much focus and others falling short.

In summary, the narrative is well-crafted and stays true to its theme. The protagonist's strong career orientation is evident throughout the story. The main character (ML) garners significant influence across all dimensions, eventually becoming akin to a gold-digger after the midpoint.

The writing flows smoothly, making the content engaging and easy to follow. Although the worlds may rely on clichés, they are given an unexpected twist. The protagonists' loyalty to each other forms a heartwarming aspect, and the inclusion of animal-centric sweetness adds a gentle touch.

However, some readers might perceive the protagonist as overly powerful, leading to a lack of conflict in the middle portion (which could be seen as a plus for those who enjoy OP main characters). The ending feels rushed to my opinion, which detracts from the overall experience.

Despite these minor drawbacks, I would rate this story higher than average due to its unique focus on the protagonist's career rather than solely system missions. It's an enjoyable read for casual entertainment.

It's unfortunate that I enjoy the novel, but the translation quality is truly disappointing. Allow me to illustrate with an example:

In Chapter 6 (WM and BS Translation), it reads: "but internally, it is such a variety show that specializes in cutting fans’ leeks?"
In the unedited version from Google Translate: "but internally, it's a variety show that's designed to rip off fans?"

The official translation loses clarity, as the meaning is practically harder to comprehend.

In general, it was a satisfying read for me since I could complete the book effortlessly. Although some readers have pointed out that certain story arcs tend to drag on due to unnecessary or inconsequential details, I particularly enjoyed the world-building, particularly in the second and final arcs.

The main character might come across as a Gary Stu, but his portrayal is grounded in authentic emotional depth stemming from his past traumas. If you're not too bothered by the abundance of details, I think this would be a pretty enjoyable read.

I concede. In my opinion, the novel has potential with an intriguing concept, but the translation is a major letdown. It appears to be a poorly edited machine translation, lacking the polish one would expect. The fact that the next chapter button is hidden only adds to the frustration, forcing readers to constantly navigate back and forth between the main page. I genuinely hope the translator improves their work, but for now, I have decided to discontinue reading this version.
