It’s better than most novels but wouldn’t say it’s amazing. There’s something off with Ren’s personality. It’s like he’s bordering a control-freak edgelord while trying to be a calm, composed, and relatable MC. The dichotomy should be the major personal struggle of the novel but the appeal of it just falls flat. Also if you’re expecting classic Alchemy, then you’d find little of it here. World building could also use a bit more flair as it is lacking and grammar could be better but that’s just a minor issue for me.

So, first of all, if you even want to start reading this, it's going to be very helpful that you understand on how to play League of Legends (LoL). Because the whole story is about the MC becoming a Worlds winner, it contains lots of scenes of MC playing LoL, and if you don't play LoL, it may be hard to understand what's exactly going on in the story. For example, if I told you Blitzcrank hooked Jarvan during his E-Q combo into turret range, (which you'll see later) I'm thinking some of you wont understand. Thankfully, this novel has pretty smooth descriptions about what's going on in the game. Who knows, maybe you'll start to playing LoL after reading this, especially when the actual Worlds is happening right now. To all readers, good luck and have fun.

Bad Grammar, not to the point of shty Chinese translators (which I would rather read), but nevertheless, bad in a way that doesn't make you choke, but endlessly annoy. The plot seems cool, great even - nice, but the fact that Aaron (The system itself is so... idk)The trope is good, but I think it has bad execution, especially the overly annoying dialogues involved. It makes it feel like, things that are tragic become comedic. The timelines at the start are a bit messed up too. Well, not really, but going back to the forth from past to present just strikes a nerve.I usually stick to, and bear to read even the trashiest of trash plots, but as of the moment, I can't bear this novel.(I can also smell our fellow ph genes)
