After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. Smiling sweetly at her ex-husband, she said, "My dear, we're already divorced." Michael simply stared at her coldly, "Tell me, what will it take for us to reconcile?"

Kicking the door open with an angry bellow, was a woman of breathtaking appearance comparable to the goddesses of beauty, the lack of any clothing other than a man's shirt that only went past her waist only served to enhance her enchanting nature.

"Who in Poseidon's name have you brought here?" He barked, closing the distance between us in three strides. "Where did you find this stowaway? He  pauses, his cold fingers sharply raising my chin. "This girl looks half gone already. In her state, she will not last the trip." He concludes sternly, gray eyes gazing at me with a mixture of concern and pity.

Sheer terror flowed through my veins as I watched my family burn in a strange violet flame, which seemed to exude a personality of it's own as it wrapped it's tendrils through cloth and skin, mingling and crackling with the screams of my parents. Strangely, everything was...dampered...muffled. It seemed that I could hear what my mother was crying out, without hearing it...until my mind processed everything, letting all sounds in at once "-UN!! RUN JAY!! PLEASE RUN!! WE LOVE YOU!! SAVE YOURSE-." Suddenly, the sickly purple flames consume my mother's voice as it slithers across her face and down her throat. The last thing I see through my tears and blurry eyes were my mother and father's eyes, pleading me to save myself, and that they'll always love me. "MAMA!! PAPAAAA!! I'M SORRYY!!" Screaming and yelling, crying and sobbing...I leave my family behind, to be consumed by the flames of a purplish hell, flames that would consume my fitful nightmates fo the next thirteen years of my life...
