Her body stiffened when she felt his hand settle on her thigh, grazing the sensitive skin with a barely-there touch that sent a jolt of warmth rushing to her core. She snapped her eyes shut, her breath coming in ragged, shallow gasps as her pulse hammered in her neck. What is he doing?

"What... what are you doing?" Elle finally managed to choke out, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and confusion.

Halcyon's voice was a deep, dark hum in her ear, sending a shiver through her as his lips brushed against the sensitive skin just below her ears. "Marking what's mine."

His words dripped with possessiveness, and Elle's breath caught. A strange heat washed over her, mingling with the terror coiling in her stomach. His voice was so close, his presence so consuming, she couldn't escape it.

"Your... Highness... I-I feel dizzy." She stuttered, her hands shooting up instinctively, weakly trying to stop him from leaning in further. Her fingers trembled as they brushed the solid expanse of his broad shoulder, but it only served to remind her of the power he had over her in that moment.

"Shhh... you'll be alright," he murmured, his voice low and coaxing, yet laced with a dark edge. "Don't make noise. We wouldn't want anyone to hear, would we?".....

    entertain me a bit , was this novel contains prejudice against mankind of anycolor " racist " do reply  i was interested due to the number of chapters but if it contains racism then i rather bomb drop the novel because its an influencer and a pest of mankind

    A typical racist Chinese story were Chinese are good guy who are allowed to cripple others and Japanese and Korean are bad guy who are not allowed to say anything bad.

    This book is one of the best books I've ever read. The characters are interesting and you end up actually caring about what's goin to happen to them. The world building is great and I personally don't have any problems with the tranlation quality. would definitely recommend you read this as it is a very good book all in all.

    This is best described as a quiky. 5 chapters in op gamer with support of rich company and easily solves problems.... decent read but don’t expect much in way of actual story.

    I really enjoyed the read, I think beyond anything this book could definitely be looked back on in the past based on to its allusions to issues happening worldwide. Vocabulary was top notch, and I thought I used a bunch of words in my story but this has to take the cake.

    This narration style seems very realistic and it feels as if Dexter is sitting right in front of me telling me his story.The plotline is quite intriguing. I'm looking forward for the upcoming chapters to unfold. Good job mister author!

    Obviously I'm the Author so I'm gonna give myself 5 stars ;) The chapters will get longer as the book goes on however I want to stay to the theme of a chapter as a write in order to make things easier to understand. This may lead to some short chapters however it will get better I promise
