I'm awarding a 4-star rating mainly due to the first approximately 50 chapters which were highly entertaining, skillfully written, and featured an excellent translation. However, after that point, the content became excessively dull and illogical. In fact, you could largely overlook most sections without missing any significant plot points.

This is incredibly adorable. I truly enjoy the dynamic between ML (Main Male Character) and FL (Female Lead). The ML often plays a mischievous child-like role to win the FL's affection and compassion, which is quite refreshing. Despite her reincarnation in a novel, it's interesting to note that the original story doesn't have a conventional happy ending, as the FL realizes the original FL's marriage ultimately ends in divorce upon rereading the book. It's fascinating to see how the ML behaves, treating the FL as if she's a mystical being who might vanish if their relationship were exposed. So far, my expectations have been met, as the story is well-written and engaging. I'm just reading through it quickly to reach the conclusion.

This is my first encounter with such a captivating dynamic in Chinese literature, and I absolutely adore it! The characters are clever and playful, and their chemistry is simply enchanting. In my opinion, this book is a perfect fit for those who enjoy Korean contemporary romance – it seamlessly blends into that genre.

The translation is exceptional, showcasing the translator's dedication to maintaining the natural flow in English while preserving the essence of the original text. It's evident how much effort they've put into crafting a translation that feels authentic and true to the source material.

I give this 10 out of 10 stars without hesitation.

I truly adore this novel, particularly the male lead! He's adorable, and their interactions are hilarious! Although the translation isn't perfect, it's still enjoyable with some effort. The story is drama-free, filled with lots of heartwarming moments. I'm eagerly looking forward to reading more! ????

"This is pure gold! I can't find a cuter, fluffier, and more adorable dog-man character like Cheng Jun anywhere. Wow! My fellow reader has covered all the points I wanted to share about this book. Each character is lovable, and the storyline is satisfying. The author's touch in showing the original FL's regret at the end, even briefly, adds realism. It's rare to see antagonists express remorse in novels; usually, they focus on the main characters' growth.

I appreciate how the FL retreats after accidentally overhearing ML's confession. It resonates with me, as she values not wasting his time or emotions. When ML finally confesses, I was in tears – he's so可怜. There are also some heart-wrenching moments, which made me cry again, but ultimately left me content.

The ending, a concise three words, left me speechless, yet it perfectly suited the situation. A word of advice: if you're planning to win someone over using Google, first read other reviews to avoid an embarrassing mishap, like what happened to ML and his friend."

In short, the book is delightful, with relatable characters and a well-rounded story that includes unexpected emotional depth. The ending leaves a lasting impression, and the author's storytelling prowess is evident.

This is an amusing read, following an introverted and socially awkward character with a "sharp-tongued" personality as they pursue a romantic relationship. However, the pacing seems a bit stretched. My overall rating would be 3.5 stars.

The main character (MC) seems to have a disappointing side. She's oscillating between affection and distance, causing emotional pain to the male lead (ML). I really don't appreciate her manipulative behavior, where she pretends to care, deeply ingrains herself in his life, and then abruptly disappears, all for her selfish reasons. I thought she was more evolved than Mary/White/Greentea, who often resort to dramatic exit tactics when relationships are going well. It's a regression, really. In her everyday life, the MC is competent, but ML deserves someone who consistently treats him well and respects him, not someone who uses him temporarily.

She can choose to live her life independently, focusing on her career or enjoying solitude. It's not like I care if she feels nostalgic or oblivious, but it's unnecessary to hurt someone. Ideally, the ML should find a compatible partner who appreciates him for his character, values, and not just his wealth or appearance. A mature and happy ending for everyone would be ideal, where the MC learns from her mistakes and finds love again, possibly with someone who suits her better as she grows up.

This is the delightful and heartwarming novel I adore! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The main character (MC) and the male lead (ML) have a perfect chemistry. Their banter and culinary adventures are a joy to read, especially their love for food. And oh, the ML is like a charming child, so irresistible that it's no wonder the MC can't resist him – sigh. The story is a fine wine, and the sweetness of their eventual union after a long, arduous wait makes it all worthwhile.

The ML realizes from the beginning that the MC isn't the original host, but he doesn't display concern or curiosity; he just doesn't care. As the story progresses and he falls in love with the MC, there are moments where he stays awake at night, fearing her sudden disappearance without a trace. His pleadings of "Don't go," "Don't leave me," and "You won't abandon me, right?" tugged at my heartstrings and portrayed his vulnerability and anxiety.

Thankfully, the MC does leave eventually, but it has a happy ending, which brought immense relief – I would have been devastated otherwise. The novel was quite easy to translate from Chinese, and I plan on revisiting it once the translated version is available. Thank you for bringing this gem to our attention!

This is an incredibly charming story. The drama hasn't delved too deeply yet, and the main male lead has only begun his gentle, extremely gradual pursuit of winning his wife's affection. I highly recommend it for those seeking a lighthearted, heartwarming, and background-heavy novel to enjoy.

Initially, it started off well, but things took a turn for the worse after ML's confession! ML is quite unromantic and lacks understanding; his constant use of insensitive, crass remarks really offend MC. I don't find it amusing, endearing, or charming. He's just not a likable character. On the other hand, FL behaves too prim even after agreeing to give it a chance. Can you believe he tried holding her hand? She acts as if it's shocking! I just don't understand what ML sees in her; apart from cooking for him and practically mothering him, that's about it. Sigh, I've lost interest in the story; the translation quality has declined significantly since the switch.
