The “first awakened one” recognized by everyone… is only a B-rank.
Jiho, who fought hard despite everyone’s mockery, had unluckily gotten caught up in a S-rank dungeon and was about to die when…

A special chance is presented to him.
He gains the skills to check others’ abilities with the system and strengthen them.

‘Is this… a hallucination? Is this a monster’s trick?’
[Why are you so surprised? ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノIt’s my skill. Aren’t I impressive? ( ⁎ ᵕᴗᵕ ⁎ )]

With this skill, Jiho can prove himself.
He doesn’t have to rely on someone anymore.

Jiho finally begins to spread his wings.
However, his childhood friend and SS-rank hunter Yiwon tries to stop Jiho from becoming a hunter…

“Stop being a hunter now. It’s not like you have to worry about making a living.”
“Why do you talk like that, a**hole?”

The slowly approaching danger… and the confusing Yiwon.
Will Jiho be able to solve everything and succeed?

The translation is exceptional, and the main character is likable. The storyline is captivating, but unfortunately, I couldn't continue due to the protagonist's toxic behavior towards anyone who tried to be friendly with him. This might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but those who are sensitive to such dynamics might still enjoy the story.

First and foremost, thank you for choosing this series! If I'm not mistaken, it's also written by the same author behind "How to Raise a Victim." The series recently concluded. Although I haven't finished it yet, the beginning has been quite promising!

Jiho initially seems to be going through a tough time, but with Yiwon by his side, I believe he'll find his way. I really appreciate Jiho's kind-hearted nature – he reminds me of Dokja's genuine side, without any manipulation, which is refreshing. It's heartwarming to see how much he's loved by his family, that part tugs at my heartstrings (╥﹏╥).

Oh, and let's not forget about the covers! They were beautifully illustrated by Clumsyoranges – they even created official artwork for "Debut or Die" too!

The global backdrop evokes memories of "S-Class Heroes I Nurtured" and "Omniscient Reader," particularly in the selfless nature of the protagonist. The main character displays kindness and goodness, but their unwavering idealism feels somewhat frustrating. They embody an almost utopian hero who refuses to let anyone suffer, even villains who haven't committed unforgivable acts, like murder. Unlike Kim Dokja in "Omniscient Reader," where the protagonist sacrifices himself for his loved ones when faced with no alternative, this MC willingly sacrifices themselves for strangers, leaving their friends and family behind.

I appreciate the engaging dynamic between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML). They both exhibit childlike innocence, which is quite adorable. The ML's wild side adds a refreshing twist. The concept of the MC being the first to awaken is intriguing. However, I should mention that the pacing of the plot is gradual, though it might just be my personal experience. Overall, I am genuinely intrigued by the storyline.

It's been quite some time since I read this novel, but it was an enjoyable read! I actually liked the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML), despite his possessive nature – I thought it added an intriguing dynamic. The flirting scenes between them, especially when ML got down on one knee and proposed to MC in front of everyone, had me on the edge of my seat, tears streaming down my face! 🤗

The plot took a slight detour towards the middle and end, but it wasn't too dramatic; just a bit unpredictable. Towards the end, I found myself skimming through the last 20 chapters because I wished for more interaction between the couple. Thankfully, the bonus content (which mostly consisted of steamy scenes) somewhat addressed that.

The social media posts and comments provided initial entertainment, but there were so many that it became tiring. It was amusing to see how others speculated about who would end up pregnant.

Overall, this novel is a decent choice for a leisurely read or to pass the time.

It does indeed appear intriguing, as I have a fondness for hunter/gate stories. The banter and dynamic between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML), despite their somewhat childish squabbles reminiscent of elementary school antics, adds an enjoyable element. I'm eagerly anticipating more updates; thank you to the translator, ^_^
