It always felt like you didn't belong. Your parents were villains and you just didn't seem to fit that kind of life. When they're captured by the heroes, you don't feel at home in heroic custody. Even when Aizawa offers to help you back on your feet as a hero and not a villain like your parents were, you struggle to find the right place to fit in. The 1-A students are all weary of you and many of the lower level students struggle to understand how the Villains Integration Program just slotted you in the best hero class in the country. It seems kind of ironic to be a VIP with nothing to show for it. Two 1-A students seem to have very strong and opposing opinions about you, which appears to drive you towards picking the detention center over the program. Little do you know, that the pair would do anything to keep from driving you away. Your quirk is similar to Oogie Boogie in that you have control over 'creepy crawlies' that you can produce out of the stitches in your body.

Great character that was quick to grab you mind and keep you wanting to read more with a fast paced plot. With a alternate world and monsters it was easy to keep wanting to read more to find out what would happen next to our main character.0 0 Reply

I just started reading this novel, and I’m really enjoying it so far! The worldbuilding and concept are fantastic, and I truly believe this story has immense potential. Since the author is open to feedback (which I really appreciate), I’d like to share some thoughts. First, I’d love for the novel to avoid becoming an absolute power fantasy (like Solo Leveling). While those stories have their audience, they often feel generic and waste potential. A well-balanced progression will make the journey far more engaging. Character development is another crucial aspect. The MC should be well-rounded and compelling, but side characters should receive just as much attention. Many readers get attached to the world by immersing themselves in the lives of side characters, sometimes even more than the protagonist. If side characters are dull, unlikable, or lack depth, it weakens the story’s immersion. Some of the best and most popular works thrive because of their supporting cast, so the more dynamic and fleshed-out they are, the better. Regarding power scaling, I’d prefer a balanced approach where the MC is strong but not the undisputed strongest. It’s more interesting if there are multiple characters—whether allies, neutrals, or enemies—who can rival or even surpass the MC in strength. This forces the MC to be more cautious and strategic rather than steamrolling through every challenge. Intelligence should also be handled realistically. If the MC starts as just above average, it wouldn’t make sense for them to suddenly outthink nearly everyone they meet with flawless schemes. Even if they are highly intelligent, there should be others who are just as, if not more, intelligent and capable of countering them. Not every plan should succeed perfectly—sometimes things should go wrong, even when the MC seemingly has control. The world should feel unpredictable and realistic, where not everything conveniently works out in the end. On romance, while it’s not a necessity, it’s natural for characters to develop romantic interests. However, many stories mishandle this, particularly with harem tropes where almost every opposite-gender character inexplicably falls for the MC. Just being cool or good-looking shouldn’t make the MC an automatic love magnet, especially in a world where many characters might share similar qualities. A more balanced approach—where romance is spread among different characters rather than revolving solely around the MC—would feel more natural and add richness to the story. In summary, I’d love to see well-developed side characters (perhaps even more interesting than the MC), a power system where the MC isn’t the undisputed strongest, and a realistic take on intelligence and strategy where plans don’t always work out. If romance is included, a balanced approach without generic harem tropes would be great. Regardless of how the story unfolds, I’m confident it will turn out great. Even though I’m still in the early chapters, I’m absolutely loving it so far!0 0 Reply
